Falloway Airport is a planned airport located on the western peninsula of Falloway. The airport is adjacent to Falloway Space Centre which shares its runway. It will be accessible from junction 1 on the City Bypass. The airport will feature one runway and one passenger terminal.
Approved Plan
Since the town's founding, it was never intended for an airport to be built in Falloway. The original plan was for a space centre as the location for the city was determined by the availability of suitable land. However with the space centre plans drawn out, it was determined that adding one passenger terminal beside the planned spaceport runway would make the most of the facility and give Falloway a chance to connect to other cities through air travel.
The airport and space centre were proposed as one integrated facility and was approved not long after Falloway reached Governor. The entire facility will consist of one shared runway, a small airport terminal and space complex including at least two launch pads.
Rather than being built all at once, the facility will be built in stages as the City of Falloway expands.
- Phase 1: Construction of launch pad 1 and main space centre facility buildings.
- Phase 2: Installation of runway and secondary launch pad.
- Phase 3: Construction of airport terminal and supporting buildings.
