"Pirate Attack" was the first official Nothing built during the December 2017 GSM.

Nothing, also known as 20 Questions, was a game played after the "Q & A" portion of General Staff Meetings from December 2017 to May 2019 where Frumple had to guess what was built behind him during the time he gave announcements pertaining to the meeting. It was Frumple's task to determine what the Nothing is, by asking up to 20 yes or no questions (though responses were seldom solely "yes" or "no", and sometimes even evoke contradictory responses depending on the question). This official tradition began with the December 2017 General Staff Meeting, which was held at the present-day Rank Resort. At GSMs prior to the official Nothings, the faces of Frumple and chiefbozx were built behind Frumple.

The game was named Nothing as a reference to the joke that there was "nothing" being built Frumple while he was facing the general public reading the announcement.

MinecraftYoshi26 had constructed the builds behind Frumple unless he was unable to be there, which only occurred once in April 2018. From the June 2019 GSM on, Nothing was no longer built as the new GSM format did not call for a press conference and the length of the new GSM format made it tiring.

Frumple was able to guess 7 out of the 17 Nothings behind him correctly.
