Alexandriasburg is a city in the Epsilon region of the New World merging Alexandria Bay founded by barleybun (formerly known as Itz Lego) and Rosebush founded by Mojang1014 into a single municipality. Under this union, it was federated on August 9, 2019 when barleybun offered to give away Alexandria Bay to Mojang1014. The city has rich architectural history, intertwining ancient Gamma-style architecture with modern and brutalist Mojanger building designs. It is known for being a maritime and naval hub in the Epsilon South -- with numerous battleships, civilian ships, and submarines being stationed on its shores. The city also holds the server's first Transgender Pride Wall, located in barleybun square in front of the Alexandria Bay Football Club (ABFC) Stadium.
History
History of Alexandria Bay
Alexandria Bay was founded on July 18, 2017 by barleybun as their first town on the MRT Server. The town's current rank is currently their player rank on the server. It was federated into Alexandriasburg on August 9, 2019.
History of Rosebush
Rosebush was founded on October 27, 2018 by MojangChan as his second town on the server. The land where Rosebush stands was originally a part of Santo Domingo (originally founded as North Alexandria), a [Councillor]-ranked town owned by Nainzboy. At the time it was founded, both Mojang1014 and Nainzboy agreed to build exclaves within each others' towns. While Nainzboy's exclave in Deadbush Edgecliff was absorbed into the Deadbush metropolis, Mojang1014's exclave of Rosebush still remained a separate entity and moreover retained its town rank. It was federated into Alexandriasburg on August 9, 2019.
Federation
On August 9, 2019 shortly after Mojang1014 acquired Alexandria Bay through an Asset Transfer, both Alexandria Bay and Rosebush (both closely near one another) were merged into one entity known as Alexandriasburg. Development was stagnant since the merger until November 2023 when Alexandriasburg was chosen as the next candidate of the Mojanger Community Colonial Development Program. From then, the town expanded rapidly and needed aesthetic renovations were made within the town's existing infrastructure. A new city hall and parliament building was made in the rough geographic center of the town. A monument to commemorate the efforts of transgender individuals, of which the founder of Alexandria Bay strongly aligned with, was constructed in the site of an old hospital.
