The Amestrian department of AmestRail transit services or AmestDOT was created in an intention to service, maintain, and create many of its transit lines within and outside of Amestris. The department runs many of the city's major lines and is also responsible for holding meetings and press conference's regarding the agreement to connect a line to their city. Meetings are held in the downtown area on Amestris Ave across the street in AmestDOT building.

The ARTA is currently in debt. Therefor it has closed down. Halting all projects.

AmestRail Commuter Rail

The AmestDOT also serves it purpose for being the main headquarters for the applied rail technology as well. Which is a technology that utilizes automated track switches, signals, stations, and more. There will be plans of using the technology to implement faster rail travel and automation city to city. But that will be in the future. Since the technology is being tested on the AmestRail commuter rail line. For personal use as it still has bugs to sort out.

  • Commuter rail has not been in full operation phase yet. As there will be a discussion about expanding it in the next GSM. The tech used on the red line will also be used on the commuter rail as well.
