Aurora, or the Aurora Region, is a Metropolitan Planning Organization that contains a large number of towns in Wards 8 and 9 of the New World. It was founded by CaptainObi a while back (specific date unknown), but after he left Aurora fell apart. Now, under the leadership of Needn_NL and RadiantRanger26, Aurora is making a comeback to hopefully become one of the largest, most interconnected MPOs in the MRT.

Transit

Roads

The B844 road is the main road that runs throughout the majority of the Aurora Region. There is also the A84 (near Kaloro City), the A92 (which runs south of Aurora), the B88 (which connects Grassbush and Carnoustie to the rest of Aurora), and the B889 (which is still being built).

Future road projects include the B9, which is currently being built by Starcubed; the A8, currently being built by AP_Red; and the B86, being built by RadiantRanger26.

Rail

Aurora has access to 3 different MRT lines: the Arctic Line, the Western Line, and the Northern Line.

There are also major plans upcoming for a highly sophisticated warp rail system throughout Aurora as a whole.

Local cart rail is used in some cities and may become more commonplace as Aurora develops.

Bus

Currently, Aurora Busses is the only localized bus transport in Aurora. Scroll down for line information. There are also 3rd-party companies such as MylesBuses and Dachshund Bus Lines connecting some Aurora Cities.

Air

AIX is coming soon - but not too soon. A project of this size takes a while to plan out.

Currently, there are 2 airfields and 1 airport in Aurora: Norwest Highgate (NWT), Grassbush Southland (GSA), and Carnoustie Int'l (CIA).
