Banjaywalking.org
Banjaywalking.org (stylized in all lowercase) is a non-profit based in Kevtropolis, which already recognizes Jaywalking as a Level 1 offense and the fine is $30-60. The main goal is to, well, ban jaywalking, and enforce traffic safety laws such as pedestrians having right-of-way, speeding, and running red lights. It was founded on October 27th, 2018 by KevAKATheGr8.
Our Mission
We strive to make roads on the MRT as safe as possible, from better control equipment to better laws. We believe that:
- Jaywalking and walking against ped signals should have a larger-than-average fine
- Running red lights should have a larger-than-average fine
- Illegal parking in handicapped fines should have a larger-than-average fine
- Pedestrians should always have the right of way, even when waiting at a crosswalk
- Crosswalks are strongly encouraged to have push-to-cross buttons
- Sophisticated traffic enforcement cameras should be used to quickly identify offenders and issue tickets/fines
