The MRT Beach Line, or simply the Beach Line, is one of the 22 lines of the New World MRT system and one of the 11 additional New World MRT lines.
History
What would become MRT Beach Line was called L7 in Frumple's maps in the February 2023 GSM, which included a topic on what to do with remaining letters and its associated names. L7 would take a north-south routing between Jungle and Union Lines.
Following a rejected MRT Plains Line extension proposal by pretzel33 that would've sent the line to the southeastern corner, Frumple brought out the possibility that L7 could serve the roughly same areas. After that, Zuoj and pretzel33 began planning the line, naming L7 "Beach Line". During planning for the line, there were disputes over the routing of the line, especially the routing around Forest and Plains Lines where Zuoj and pretzel33 argued over whether if it should go to Nuuk or Prismarine, and the southern section in the mesa.
After considerable discussion on what block should be used, including whether to use end stone or sandstone for the line before birch was finally chosen, the first section of the line from Expo Line to Plains Line was proposed in March 3, 2023, with __7d as the sponsor. It was approved in March 10, 2023.
During the construction of the line, after the B0 station was pasted in at XE49, redstone issues in Beach Line and Rose Line stations was discovered and pretzel33 and Zuoj finding that Esterland existed northeast of BS1's planned location and wanted to move the station to here, but ModernArt, the mayor didn't respond to direct messages until April 12, 2023 held up construction of the line south of BS1 until __7d advised the builders to build from the south, which they did so. Construction progressed quickly, with the stations being placed by April 19, 2023.
However after that, very little to no construction happened after April 2023, along with the other extension that pretzel33 planned, Savannah which was approved in January 2023, which also took longer, mainly due to the sponsors and builders of these extensions being busy, which made them subject of jokes akin to MRT Western Line South and chiefbozx, and an incident in November 2023 where Nexurian claimed F45/BS9 for Beech Woods and finished the elevator shaft, claiming that it was "completely within the rules", contrary to what staff ruled, which resulted in a warning to Nexurian and the entire station being rolled back.
After Zuoj came back in late January 2024 following exams, he built the rest of the line, with the line being mostly complete by February.
In the final MRT Line plan posted by Frumple, Beach Line is indicated in pale orange. The routing suggested in the plan is Secunda to U86 with a potential north extension to Fake Fake London and a south extension to the southeastern corner.

The Beach Line will travel from XE49 on MRT Expo Line to P61 on MRT Plains Line, taking a north-south route with an interchange with F45 on MRT Forest Line in between.
The tunnels, viaducts and stations are designed by Zuoj. The tunnels are 4.5 blocks tall, with sandstone on the top and bottom and stone on the sides, with a birch line on the center, and viaducts are made out of sandstone and birch, including the pillars to reflect the line's color.
The line begins at B0 station in Plage Rouge, an interchange station with MRT Expo Line, crossing a canal connecting Quindici Sea and Piccolo Lake, then crossing under Quindici Sea, stopping at BS1 station on Esterland before continuing under the ocean, then emerging above ground into a desert biome. After BS2 station, the line continues to rise, reaching a height of Y=97 when reaching BS3 station, one of the highest segments of MRT system in terms of Y position and from the ground. The line then descends to ground level, crossing the savannah biome.
After crossing the savannah biome, the line continues south through the plains and forest biomes. After BS8 station, before reaching the mountain biome, the line goes underground on the way to BS9 station, an interchange station with MRT Forest Line. The line then goes above ground, crossing the mega taiga biome. After 2 stations, the line ends at BS12 station, an interchange station with MRT Plains Line.
