The Big Board, fully the New Mackinaw City Public Broadcasting "Big Board" Central City United States Election Center at the Historic Merchant Radio Building, is a bulletin board pertaining to the results of the November 3rd, 2020 US Presidential Election that was located at the Historic Merchant Radio Building in Central City. The Big Board is a service of the City of New Mackinaw through New Mackinaw City Public Broadcasting. EliteNeon created the original board in the morning hours of November 3rd. PtldKnight added a second board with state-by-state counts of the Electoral College on the adjacent Tommy Corp Building.
On November 7th, 2022, the board was moved to New Risima on the MRT Zephyr Line as chiefbozx requested it to be moved out of Central City. It was later moved to Shadowpoint where it stands to this day. Successor boards have been erected on several occasions for following elections. Some were built at the original Delvin Street site, but newer boards were moved to nearby New Risima to comply with the then-new rules. The Big Board moniker has been used outside of political purposes, more recently for staff meetings and real-life sport tournaments as well. The Big Board and its successors were granted legal personhood and the rank of Trustee by the December 13th, 2020 meeting of the MRT Trustee Association.
The Big Board was allowed to re-enter Central City when a motion to create a dedicated Big Board Park adjacent to Central City Warp Rail Terminal was approved at the December 10th, 2023 GSM.
