Blackhawk Coast Bus Terminal

The Blackhawk Coast Bus Terminal is an intercity bus terminal in the Blackhawk district of Dogwood. The terminal is the first build by STthecat since he gained supporter, which began construction on October 14, 2021 and opening to limited service two days later.

Currently, the terminal is serviced by Dogwood Metro Rail's Orange Line, as well as intercity Sandstone Buss and Dachshund Bus Lines services. The second level is anchored by Wuster's Burgers and Panera Bread.

History

For more than half a year after Dogwood's founding, the town never had a proper connection to the New World Highway System. Initially, to resolve this problem, the Dogwood City Council (now Sequoia) planned the A188 expressway to connect the city with neighbouring Broxbourne, as both towns had started good bilateral relations. However, the plan was scrapped and replaced by CodyHM's A892 extension proposal.

In October 2021, the extension was completed from Whitecliff all the way up to Dogwood. The DP City Council then drafted plans for the Blackhawk Coast Expansion, which would expand the existing Blackhawk industrial district. One of the proposals bundled with the expansion was an intercity bus terminal, which would provide bus connections to the rest of the New World. The terminal was tentatively named as the Dogwood Intercity Bus Terminal before given its current name just after construction started.

Following mayor STthecat's return from his long hiatus, construction commenced on the bus terminal on October 14, 2021. On October 16th, the terminal was finally completed and limited services began that morning as the A892 was not ready to be opened yet. At opening, only the Orange Line was servicing the terminal.

Intercity bus services are expected to commence at the terminal in late 2021, upon the opening of the A892 extension.
