History
The town of Bristol started Bristol Metro on March 5, 2021.
The technology used by the Bristol Metro is now obsolete; construction on the new Bristol Metro is ongoing and will eventually replace this version of the metro.
General Information
Bristol Metro offers train service with travel achieved via minecarts. The entire Bristol Metro train system is cart rail. Bristol Metro serves Bexley Regional Park, New Bern Regional Park, Bristol Park, Bristol Tulip Park, Riverdale Park, North Bristol Forest, South Bristol Forest, a few buildings within Downtown Bristol, Buildings A-D located near Downtown Bristol, North Bristol Tower, South Bristol Tower, East Bristol Tower, Ye Olde Build (car parking offered here) which also serves South Bristol Helipad, The Dig Bristol, MLK Park And Ride (bicycle parking offered here), Bristol Road Park And Ride (car parking offered here), West Road Park And Ride (car parking offered here), North Bristol Park And Ride (bicycle parking offered here), South Bristol Park And Ride (car parking offered here), Bristol Parking Garage (car parking offered here), Bristol Mall, Bristol University (car parking offered here), Bristol College, and Bristol Circle Walkway. Bristol Metro Circle Line rail line was built within Bristol on both May 7 and 8, 2021, with service operating from May 8, 2021, and currently features 20 access points located throughout Bristol. Bristol Metro Express Train services was built within Bristol during both February and March of 2022 and contains several train stations/stops for the services including North End Train Station (far northeast Bristol), Hidden Valley Train Station (northeastern Bristol), Cumberland Train Station (northeastern Bristol), Pleasant Park Train Station (northeastern Bristol),Near Downtown Train Station (close to Downtown Bristol just barely north of it), Riverfront Train Station (southern Bristol located right by Riverfront Park), South Bristol Forest Train Station (southwestern Bristol located within South Bristol Forest), Bristol Mansion Train Station (southern Bristol though despite the name is actually located a short walk away from the actual Bristol Mansion), Parc De Bristol Train Station (southern Bristol), South End Train Station (far southern Bristol offering transfer to Bristol Metro Circle Line), The Bristol Ozarks Train Station (southeastern Bristol) (car parking offered here), Southeast Bristol Train Station (southeastern Bristol) (car parking offered here), Portabello Train Station (southeastern Bristol) (car parking offered here), Riverwood Train Station (southeastern Bristol), Bristol Union Train Station (western Bristol providing connection to Bristol University), New Bern Train Station (western Bristol located within New Bern Regional Park), Bristol Port Train Station (northwestern Bristol), Severn Train Station (northeastern Bristol), Waterloo Train Station (northeastern Bristol), and North Bristol Helipad Train Stop (eastern Bristol not within a train station presently located very close to helicopter service to both Rattlerville and Carolina). Bristol Metro operates a rail line that connects North Bristol Tower with the area right by the WN45/A56 Bristol MRT station. This line has existed since some point and time in 2021. Bristol Metro has a headquarters building as well as the Bristol Road Train Station along Bristol Road, the South Road Train Station along South Road, the West Road Train Station along West Road, the Edgewood Road Train Station along Edgewood Road, the Hendon Road Train Station along Hendon Road, the Little Road Train Station along Little Road, South Bristol Park and Ride Train Station, Bristol Islands Train Station, Bristol Garden Train Station (car parking offered here), Mountaineer Train Station, Rodrigo Train Station, East Bristol Train Station, Bristol Sports District Train Station (located near the football field, soccer stadium, and spleef arena), The Apexdex Train Station, University Train Station (located near Bristol International University graduate school campus and Bristol International University residence hall, East Bristol Train Station, Bristol Community College North Campus Train Station, Highland Heights Train Station, Grand Central Train Station (which is located at WN45/A56 Bristol MRT station and features both the G and M Lines), and the aforementioned train stations/stops for Bristol Metro Express Train services. All of the aforementioned is about Bristol Metro train service within Bristol proper. There is one train stop for Bristol Metro located in Kingsport. The train stop there connects to suburban rail services in both Bristol and Kingsport operated by BSRN.
