Crystal City Transit Authority
The Crystal City Transit Authority, or CCTA, is a transit company that owns and runs all public transit that goes to and from Crystal City. This can be buses, trains, ferries, or even airplanes (hopefully). It is headquartered at the Freedom Tower/Building #1 at the World Trade Center.
There are many branches of the CCTA.
Crystal City Metro
The Crystal City Metro is divided up into 4 lines, with a possible 5th. The lines are the CCM A Train, the CCM 1 Train, the CCM 4 Train, and the CCM D Train. The CCM A Train goes from what was formerly known as Lakewood/Plainsville through downtown Crystal City and terminating at 8th Street/5th Avenue. The CCM 1 Train will run from Ferryport to Law/Courthouse station. The CCM D Train will go in a loop, with stops at Ferryport, Yankees/153rd Street, City Centre/Lexington Ave, Trade Center, Law/Courthouse, and more. Finally, the CCM 4 Train will go from Ferryport to Talihina. It is the shortest of the 4 lines, and also one of the original lines. All trains stop at Trade Center Station.
CCBus
The CCBus is the local bus line for Crystal City. It runs up and down through the Bronx, Lower Crystal City, before ending up at the transit station.
