The DP City Council (DPCC), officially known as the Dogwood-Parkland City Council and formerly known as the Dogwood City Council, was a state that controlled and governed STthecat's towns, founded on April 6, 2021. Its towns were not in one contiguous area but rather spread around different areas on the server. The entire state was a part of the Alliance Cities. The state dissolved in the August of 2022, and was followed by Sequoia.
The capital and largest city was Parkland, which was also home to the state's headquarters.
History
The DP City Council was originally formed as the Dogwood City Council upon Dogwood's founding in April 6, 2021. The Dogwood City Council was tasked with managing the day-to-day lives and operations of Dogwood and approving projects in the town. However, the government did not actually serve a purpose and was essentially an asset owned by mayor (now DP City Council President) STthecat to govern Dogwood.
Things took a turn in the later half of 2021 however, when ST's second town Parkland was founded in eastern New World on July 25, 2021. The city council was renamed the Dogwood-Parkland City Council, or by its common name DP City Council, to reflect this change and was converted fully into a state. Parkland became the capital of the DP City Council soon after. Each town's deputy mayor now served as representative of each town part of the DP City Council.
In November 2021, DP City Council moved into its permanent headquarters at 3 Dogwood Street in the Embassy district of Parkland. Stone Bay joined as the DP City Council's third member on December 30, 2021, following an asset transfer from Airplaneguy9.
On May 8, 2022, STthecat founded the town of Walczaka, joining the DPCC as its fourth member on the same day.
The DP City Council was formally dissolved on August 5, 2022, with all four members becoming part of the newly formed Republic of Sequoia.
Administrative divisions
The DP City Council was divided into three municipalities, Dogwood, Parkland and Stone Bay, which had a total of nine districts. On August 5, 2022, the DP City Council was formally disbanded, with all four members becoming part of the Republic of Sequoia.
