Deltix Rail Terminal is a major transportation hub in Espil. It is one of two transit centres in Deltix, Eisli, serving as one of Espil's major intercity rail hubs. It is famous among rail companies for being one of the hardest rail terminals to connect to, as a result of lax planning requirements and the sheer number of rail lines serving the area.
History
Deltix Rail Terminal started out being a giant pit, reserved for future bullet train expansions by HSRC in 2016. However, the plans fell through, and the area ended up being abandoned. A few months later, Nktransit expanded to Espil, and decided to use the pit as the station terminal. Seeing the opportunity, the Espil government opened up the station to further intercity rail connections, allowing for other rail companies to have stations there. The combination of a lack of planning, and lax policies regarding the organisation of rail companies within the terminal led to a extreme disorganisation with connections being done by a series of complicated tunnels underground. Historically, the station had been named "Espil North", since it was the northernmost rail station at the time of construction. By 2018, that was no longer the case, and so the station was renamed to "Deltix Rail Terminal". In 2020, the station is slated to be overhauled in order to make it easier to navigate, as well as adding accessibility options.
