Dogwood Metro Rail is the urban rail system serving Dogwood, consisting of two planned light rail lines, the Blue Line and the Gold Line and two bus rapid transit lines, the Orange Line and Silver Line. The Orange Line began revenue service on June 9th 2021. The first phase of light rail consisting of the three-stop Blue Line will open in July 2021, with trains running from Madison Beach to Herr Liszt University.
History
When STthecat planned the districts of Dogwood, he also planned the initial 2-line light rail system connecting the districts. Track-laying of Madison Beach station began on April 6, 2021. Currently, it is the only part of the system being built.
At the start of July 2021, the Blue Line will be opened as a 3-station line from Madison Beach to Herr Liszt University.
Further extensions are planned for the system, including the opening of the Gold Line. Once Dogwood reaches Mayor, the Blue Line will be extended to Crown Pointe, while all stations on the Gold Line will open, excluding Airport. The remaining section of the Gold Line and the Silver Line, a BRT line going towards Broxbourne will open when the town reaches Senator. The Silver Line was rerouted to Broxbourne Meridian Water on April 13, 2021 after talks with autobus22.
On May 29, 2021, the Dogwood city government announced the Orange Line, which will ease traffic along the Madison Parkway. The line will use Arctic Mobility buses, and due to lower costs of the project, it is slated to be the first line to open in Dogwood. On June 1, 2021, partial trial runs began on the line from LBC-Jetty to Bayside Heights, allowing the public to ride for free. Trial runs were extended to Seaplane Terminal two days later, before the full line opened on June 9th.
On October 14, 2021, the DP City Council revealed plans to relocate the present western terminus of the Orange Line to the new Blackhawk Coast Bus Terminal once the bus terminal is fully completed. The extension opened on the morning of October 16, 2021.
On May 27, 2022, Dogwood Metro Rail procured an order for Eclipse 12 buses on the Silver Line, replacing its previous order for AutoDesignZ buses.

The Orange Line was further extended to the Blackhawk Coast Bus Terminal on October 16, 2021, concurrently with the closure of Port Blackhawk stop. Later that year, the Orange Line would receive a fleet overhaul with the replacement of the current buses, with the line closing for a week before reopening with the new fleet of buses on December 1, 2021.
An extension of the Orange Line to Apex opened on June 11, 2022, with westbound buses temporarily skipping Bayside Heights due to space constraints.

The Silver Line is a planned intercity bus rapid transit line in the Dogwood Metro Rail system running along Broadway in Dogwood and the Magherra Busway which would have ran parallel to the cancelled A188 connecting Dogwood with Broxbourne, however as the project is shelved, the route between Dogwood and Broxbourne is still uncertain. The colour of the line is a reference to the colour of the livery of Intra, which serves Broxbourne. If the line is materialised and approved, the Silver Line will open when Dogwood reaches [Senator]. Initially, the line was proposed to terminate near Broxbourne IntraRail, but it was rerouted to Broxbourne Meridian Water.
