Epsilonian Republic/Land Services Act

Creating an agency to oversee land preservation.

I) Federal Department of Land Services

1. From this point on, there will be a Federal Department of Land Services, with the following duties:
   1. Oversee the creation and management of preserved server lands, officially called National Parks
2. Unto the passing of this law:
   1. A cabinet position will be established to head the Department of Land Services
   2. This position will then be appointed by the administration

II) National Parks

1. National Parks are mostly natural land preserved for public viewing and consumption.
2. They shall entail at least the following:
   1. A welcome center containing:
      1. Limited commercial services
      2. Limited housing
      3. A hotel
      4. A park office
   2. Land that is relatively in its natural state
      1. This type of land should entail a clear majority of the allotted land
3. Private transportation companies shall be allowed to service National Parks if the opportunity arises

III) Power of the Congress

1. Congress may consider by their act an area to be a National Park of the Epsilonian Republic if:
   1. The alotted land is part of a member state and if;
   2. The alotted land is already in use as directed

Description

An act to establish a new department, as well as to set the rules on what counts as a national park. It was proposed by EliteNeon and approved on March 3rd, 2020. It's identification ID is ER-18A. Redundancy

National Parks have been managed by the Ministry of Environment since the Epsilon Park System Improvement Act under ER-26A. Some people argue that ER-26A has effectively replaced ER-18A and that this Act has become redundant.
