Festival Cruise Line is a cruise line owned by Weier. It operates luxury cruises within high density regions, such as the Nansei-Gunto Region. Its ships are easily recognizable by their green and yellow whale funnels.
They are based on Carnival Cruise Line.
History
Festival was founded on 17 June 2021 by AirplaneNiner and Weier, as a cruise line that could serve high demand destinations with many ships. The first seven ships were ordered on the same day, and slots for all of its ships. Another seven were ordered on 20 October, bringing the total to 14. On 22 October, 12 of the 14 ships were completed, mainly because of duplicate sister ships - all seven of the Majesty class ships each weigh 5,945 GT.
The first ship is expected to enter service by late October 2021.
