The Formosa Park Service is an agency of the Formosa government that manages all parks, scenic areas, outdoor recreation centers, monuments, and historical places in Formosa.

Parks

The FPS manages all public parks, regardless of size and type.

  • Oakwood Park
Park in Ruby Sector meant for its residents. It has a gravel path, a bridge, and a large tree, the Tree of Life. It is all fenced in by iron bars and plants, except for one entrance, to block out city noise, therefore create an atmosphere of peace inside a busy area.
  • Thoughtful Labyrinths
Series of 3 pathway labyrinths, Introspect, Pensive, and Reflection, in front of and behind Music's Gems in Diamond Sector, with one containing an old fountain. Great for letting kids play in while you shop for gems, or for relaxing your mind after a stressful day.

Scenic Areas

  • University Bridge
Bridge crossing the river running beside Formosa University, connecting the main campus with the JROTC training center and the shuttle to the Astronomy Complex. It has a beautiful view of the river, especially at sunrise and sunset.
  • Formosa Lighthouse
Lighthouse guiding ships into Formosa's bay during the night or during bad weather. The island and tower both have a great view of the river and the city.

Monuments

  • Memorial Fountain
Fountain built in memorial of 2/28, White Terror, Formosa Incident, and George Kerr. It is situated in the center of a traffic circle at the end of Main Street, and surrounded by flowers.
  • Challenger Memorial
Replica of the Challenger Space Shuttle (OV-099) with an information building, plaque, and several other items. It is located in eastern Diamond Sector.
