GEMxpress was a credit card company which operated the GEMxpress card. With a GEMxpress card, you could make purchases with credit that you would pay later on. This was particularly useful for new members who would be looking to purchase franchises or other items but don't have enough money yet. GEMxpress operations are currently suspended and will not recognize any transactions.

Card Tiers

GEMxpress Iron

The GEMxpress Iron card is the entry-level GEMxpress card. New customers automatically are granted this card. It allows the following:

  • Weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill each week.
  • Up to $200 in purchases in one billing cycle.

GEMxpress Gold

After one sucessfully paid billing cycle of $50 or more on a GEMxpress Iron card, customers are automatically upgraded to the GEMxpress Gold card. It allows the following:

  • Choice of billing:
    • Weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill each week.
    • Bi-weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill every other week.
  • If weekly billing is chosen: Up to $300 in purchases in one billing cycle.
  • If bi-weekly billing is chosen: Up to $600 in purchases in one billing cycle.

GEMxpress Emerald

After one sucessfully paid two weekly bills of $100 or more, or one bi-weekly bill of $200 or more on a GEMxpress Gold card, customers are automatically upgraded to the GEMxpress Emerald card. It allows the following:

  • Choice of billing:
    • Weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill each week.
    • Bi-weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill every other week.
  • If weekly billing is chosen: Up to $400 in purchases in one billing cycle.
  • If bi-weekly billing is chosen: Up to $800 in purchases in one billing cycle.

GEMxpress Diamond

This card is limited to the most responsible GEMxpress customers. To be elegible for this card, you must have never missed a GEMxpress bill, paid all GEMxpress bills completely, and have sucessfully paid eight weekly bills of $200 or more, or four bi-weekly bills of $400 or more. It allows the following:

  • Choice of billing:
    • Weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill each week.
    • Bi-weekly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill every other week.
    • Monthly billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill every four weeks.
  • If weekly billing is chosen: Up to $600 in purchases in one billing cycle.
  • If bi-weekly billing is chosen: Up to $1200 in purchases in one billing cycle.
  • If monthly billing is chosen: Up to $2400 in purchases in one billing cycle.

GEMxpress Limited

The GEMxpress Limited card is for players who have failed to pay their GEMxpress bills (more information below). You may upgrade to GEMxpress Iron after eight successfully paid billing cycles. It allows:

  • Frequent billing: You are asked to pay your GEMxpress bill every three days.
  • Up to $45 in purchases in one billing cycle.
  • Businesses have a right to deny any purchases by their discretion.

Participating Businesses/Organizations

To become a participating business or organization, ask KittyCat11231 or edit this page.

During a purchase by a customer with a GEMxpress card, the business owner should check the wiki to make sure the customer is elegible to pay the amount requested in credit. If the customer is not elegible, the business owner should cancel the transaction. If the customer is elegible, each player should /mail KittyCat11231 with a confirmation of the transaction, including the amount paid, the customer, and the business. The transaction is only valid if mail is received from both players. Business owners should ask the player to confirm in chat that they sent the /mail and take a screenshot, that way if the customer does not actually confirm the transaction with GEMxpress, the screenshot can be used as proof of fraud, which will result in confiscation of the customer's card. Business owners will be paid by GEMxpress for a confirmed transaction, plus a 5% bonus.

List of Businesses/Organizations

Billing

At the end of a billing cycle, the customer will be informed of their bill amount and will have three days to pay it completely, unless they are a GEMxpress Limited card holder, in which case they will have 24 hours to pay their bill completely. The bill will include the following:

  • The total amount they spent with their GEMxpress card in the previous billing cycle.
  • A 15% interest rate.

Following a billing cycle, the customer will not be able to make purchases with their GEMxpress card until they have paid their bill completely.

All customers are strictly required to pay their bills completely and on time. The following consequences will result from not paying your complete bill on time:

  • Your GEMxpress card will be immediately invalidated.
  • Feline Holdings will end all business transactions with you and will close franchises and buildings in your town or city, as well as suspend services in your town or city, without any refund until your bill is completely paid.
  • After paying a late bill, you will be downgraded to a GEMxpress Limited card, regardless of your previous card tier.
  • You will never be elegible for a GEMxpress Diamond card.
  • After three offenses, you will not be elegible for any GEMxpress card.

Fraud

Any form of fraud is absolutely not tolerated. This includes the following:

  • Agreeing to a transaction and failing to report it to GEMxpress.
  • Using an expired, invalid, or fraudulent card.
  • Declaring intent to not pay GEMxpress bills prior to purchases, proceeding with those purchases, and not paying the respective bills.

If you are found to have engaged in fraud, your GEMxpress card will be permanently revoked and moderators will be contacted.
