Greenwich (officially: Grand Duchy of the Township of Far West Greenwich) is an unranked town landlocked by the snow plains west of Chan Bay in Ward 7. The town was founded on June 30th, 2022, by ondist.
Lore
Greenwich was founded during British colonial rule in the early 1800s under King William IV (as Grenawic), but emancipated itself shortly after due to independence wishes from then Duke Jimothy I. These wishes were not resolved through diplomacy, but rather through brute force – William IV was almost punched to death. After Jimothy I's death in 1849, his first-born daughter, Althea Elaine, became duchess (known nowadays as Althea I). Her reign lasted until her death in 1860. She was succeded by her first-born son, Jimothy II, who reigned until his own death in 1896. His only son Ulysses Reginald was next in line of succession and reigned Greenwich until 1922. His first-born son, Jimothy Paul Harold, would have become Duke Jimothy III, but he perished during service in World War I.
Duchess Althea II
The abscence of both Ulysses I and Jimothy Paul Harold meant that his daughter, Althea Wilhelmine, was next in line of succession, and became known as Althea II. At the time of her coronation in January 1922, she was 24 years old. Her reign continues to the present, making her the longest serving monarch in the known universe, the oldest living human being in the known universe, and the only known human being to be alive in both the 19th century and the 2020s decade.
Independent Duchy
In order to stay true to its roots, the Grand Duchy of the Township of Far West Greenwich has kept its title as Duchy, despite the realm not currently underlying another monarch, and not having done so since its independence in 1849.

Transportation
Road
Greenwich is served by the B706 , which runs southeast to Dover, and connects to the B700 , which currently terminates at Passlack, but is due to be extended to Elurra.
Rail
The minecart-based Passlack Subway operates several lines and stations which connect to Passlack and other surrounding areas. Greenwich's main warp rail station, Greenwich Gwenydd, is currently served by Royal Regional Railways.
