Happy Camper Challenge

The Happy Camper Challenge was a challenge created my mine_man_ on December 26th 2015. The idea is to find a tent somewhere in the new world by following a list of clues given. A minimum of 3 clues must be given to give people a chance in finding the Happy Camper Tent. Whoever finds the Happy Camper Tent gets $20!


Usually, the clues are created to cause confusion and direct players towards a fake location. If people are struggling then more clues will be added to help people find the actual city.

Challenges

These are all the challenges to date:

  • Clues in italics repersent clues which were given after the challenge was announced. Clues in italics are always correct.

  • Where are the stone workers?
  • I went to a city followed by city.
  • Is this station sponsored by Christmas???
 Mason City
  • Stone Workers are sometimes called masons.
  • The word City is at the end of the location Mason City.
  • The Station was called Santa Lucia Station. Santa related to Christmas.

  • I see no sea nearby.
  • Carrying camping equipment on the MRT Expo Line is hard.
  • Hey look, a RegionalConnect Station
  • I remember the A8 was meant to go here. Otherwise, this welcome centre won't exist.
 42
  • There are no large bodies of water nearby the city.
  • 42 is on the Expo Line
  • There are no RegionalConnect stations in 42.
  • The A8 had a second plan to go down to the saltation where 42 was constructed at.
 Kastle
  • Sealane
27/12/15 One of these clues might be false:
  • BLUEMONTBOY!
  • This is quite close to spawn.
  • I am in the new world.
  • It took me 25 stops to get here.
  • Look, a magenta line.
 Rehoboth
  • BluemontBoy was the founder of Rehoboth.
  • Rehoboth is not close to spawn.
  • It is in the south of the new world.
  • Both these clues point towards the MRT station I25

  • Isn't there a murderer called Jack living here?
  • I probably shouldn't have set up my tent on a rail line.
  • Who is Queen Maxima?
  • These trains all have the tri-rail logo on them.
  • This tent has a great view of West Lake.
 Whitechapel
  • Jack the Ripper was a murderer in the victorian era. He killed his victims in Whitechapel.
  • The tent was on a citirail line.
  • Queen Maxima Station was not by the tent.
  • The citirail logo is also the tri-rail logo.
  • The tent was on a rail line by West Lake.
 Narnia17

27/12/15 One of these clues is false:
  • I am in IVY
  • How did they fit an airport in such a dense city.
  • The fumes in this power station are killing me.
  • I don't think there is an MRT station in this city.
  • The Doykea over there looks huge.
 Vekta
  • Vekta is one of the cities in the IVY smp.
  • There is no airport in Vekta.
  • The tent was right by the Major League Coal Power Plant.
  • Vekta has no MRT station, but there is an MRT station nearby owned by Xandar.
  • Vekta has the Doykea HQ.

The link provided sent you to a BBC SouthEast video, pointing you towards Central City SouthEast
At CCSE, there were 4 signs:

  • First letter of: New World, Got an Airport, Isn't Govenor - Referring to Ilirea, so the letter was I.
  • _28-_S14, MRT Interchange - Fill in the gaps and you get P and E
  • The initial of the initial letter - Referring to Godziltrain's fail at Sesby with the helicopter in The Amazing Race 2. So the letter was S
  • If this line was made, New MRT Marina would be _1 - Referring to the plans for a Lakeshore line terminating at MRT Marina, So the letter was L

Rearranging the letters you get Espil, and a second sign saying "Central Station" pointed you towards C80
At C80, there was signs saying:

  • "Where are you? C__, #00__
  • This CITY is full of it, apart from 1 island.

Using the first sign, you took C80, added 80 into the gap to make #0080 which if looked up in your inventory would give you Snow Blocks. Due to the snowstorm in Kitania, it pointed to the island in the west of Kitania which wasnt covered in snow.
At Kitania, another sign read:

  • Getting a Perspective how hard this gold challenge is?

If you looked at the gold structure at different angles, it would give you the letters E,B,I referring to Elecna Bay International Airport.
At Elecna Bay, a sign read:

  • Drama, Mazes, Green Tents, Elecna Bay

This referred to the Maze like corridors in the Theater in Elecna Bay. After inspection of the corridors, another clue could be found.
The clue read:

  • I lied, there is no green tent, the green metro line might.

This lead people to the C, D and L metro lines in Elecna Bay. If you went to Airport station on the green line, you would find the next clue

  • "I lie again, the tent may be in LimeYT's town as my tent is lime though".

If you went to LimeYT's town, you would find the tent at the ground floor of a tower.

13/3/16 One of these clues might be false:
  • This city had questionable air-transport planning.
  • Donald Trump approves this wall.
  • Donkeys kill more people than plane crashes. Although I disagree with where the planes did land.
  • How many mayors, 5?, wait, never mind, just 1.
  • It is NOT in a town _Kastle owns.
  • Yoshi should know this, we went here in The Amazing Race. Every team that season visited nearby.
 Saint Roux
  • The airfield in Saint Roux used to be on top of a skyscraper.
  • The wall around the area the tent was in had a Donald Trump seal of approval on it.
  • Donkeys kill more people than plane crashes was a sign by the tent. It was also used to reference the old airfield.
  • _Kastle doesn't own SRX
  • Every team in The Amazing Race 3 visited Saint Roux as it was the start line.

18/3/16 One of these clues is false:
  • These are the two closest MRT stations on the same line, technically. 19 blocks apart.
  • Why is there an underground MRT station overground?
  • I swear RL nuked this place.
  • It isn't in Waterville.
  • There is alot of sand, lots of it.
  • Why would RL nuke here, the nearest town is 500 blocks away.
  • A failed extension.
  • Go to the terminus of this line, and keep going.
 The abandoned station south of the MRT Desert Line terminus
  • There are 2 stations which are right by each other with the same colour motif, 19 blocks apart.
  • There is a floating underground station.
  • RL didn't nuke this place.
  • It isn't Waterville.
  • It is in a desert.
  • The nearest town is Whitely, which was 500 blocks away.
  • This was a failed extension to the MRT Desert Line.
  • It was on a line which extended from the current Desert Line terminus.

18/3/16 This Happy Camper Challenge has multiple sections, look for red tents as well as lime green ones. The clues are to be used at specific times, rather than all at once.

  • The Happy Camper Tent is in Spawn City Theatre District
  • Follow the Cursor
  • Technically the tent isn't in Spawn City
 Just outside the borders of Spawn City
  • The Happy Camper tent was only accessible through a building located in the Spawn City Theatre District.
  • A Cursor shaped building pointed at the building with access to the tent.
  • The underground lab had sections outside the borders of spawn city, one of which the tent was located in.
