This page details the history of the Mojangers, in reference to documents archived from the Municipal Agency of Intelligence and The Mojanger Intelligience Agency. Research cohorts from the University of Deadbush - Deadbush and Chan Bay campuses and the Chan Institute in Kleinsburg have also contributed to this historical memoir.

Pre-New World (the lore part)

Great War of the Pacific

In the year 2044, a victory of China over its neighbors was imminent. With 100 million dead: soldiers and civilians alike, it was imperative that the near-decade war must end. Manufacturing costs for new military equipment were skyrocketing, and resources for manufacturing these were dwindling rapidly. With little to no resources left to fight the Chinese nor to save its own populations, the inflicted countries began building large underground settlements: under mountains, under lakes, even under their battered metropolises.

Battle of Batanes - 2043

Eventually, a consensus was made amongst the inflicted countries – The Federation of Southeast Asia, India, Pakistan, Japan, The United Republic of Korea, Austrozealandia, and The Polynesian Union, that ‘a weapon to end all future Chinese inflictions’ must be created in order to stop it.

In 2045, the year after, years after its inception, five “mega-scatter bombs” were created by a coalition of scientists from the Central Singapore University, India Technological Institute, and ADF Institute of Military Technology, and several more cohorts from the biochemical, mechanical engineering, and military industries. These bombs were then certified months later by the west-aligned United Nations for its use.

In early 2046, five modified Boeing 747s in Air China livery were sent off from Oakland, New Zealand carrying these mega-scatter bombs. With Chinese defectors from the PLA flying the planes, and conversing with Chinese air control in their native tongue (Mandarin), these bombs were able to smoothly traverse the occupied airspace into the Chinese mainland.

In five major areas throughout the mainland in which government legislature was still present: Peking, Canton, Pudong, Chungking, and Hainan, the bombs were dropped over unsuspecting civilians. Amassing a blast radius of 700km, the creators of these bombs overly underestimated the power and amount of damage these bombs had.

While many of the remaining populations of these countries survived under cities constructed gradually through the duration of the war, in caverns 7 kilometers deep underground, the people from the mainland, including the government themselves, underestimated the devastation these bombs brought to their country. With a lack of preparedness and confidence fueled by egotistic pride and propaganda, as many as 500 million mainlanders died from the oncoming blast, 300 million from the radiation of the blast, and 50 million from skin diseases that killed them within at most a week’s time.

A wall of radiation from the coast to the Gobi Desert cornered any last motives for regaining control. Indian and Pakistani forces swept through the mainland’s southern borders and liberated Tibet and East Turkestan. At this point, after a grueling last resort that killed millions, the Asia-Pacific Alliance was able to call a victory over the war.

However, the Dionium material of these bombs would bring more surprises within the upcoming years.

The Mega-Scatter Bombs

Info and Initial Perceptions

The Mega-Scatter Bombs consisted of five Dionium bombs created by scientists from major Asia-Pacific research institutes that were funded by the governments involved in the decades long conflict against the Communist Party. The bombs consisted of 1 tonne of gun powder and 1 cubic meter of Dionium. Dionium was discovered in a quarry located in the Australian outback in the late 1800s. Dionium, unlike other metals, was supernatural in nature. Some theorists hypothesized that it may perhaps come from a celestial being or from an extraterrestrial race. Though initially frowned upon by the public, there was some truth to the theory as Dionium was used to heal diseases, no matter the severity. Scientists did not know how, but miraculously, it did on several occassions.

In 2021, a study from the University of Victoria concluded that applying a pressure of at least 178 Psi (Pounds per Square Inch) onto a 1 cubic decimeter of Dionium would affect the target (the focus of the actor) either positively (if the actor for instance were to wish someone was healed from their disease) or negatively, which was manifested by adverse side effects such as arterial inflammation. This could have explained why the Australian aboriginals used these stones as luck amulets when hunting or going to a battle.

Karma Studies

It was discovered in a later study in 2022 that there was an association with karma to the effects triggered by the shattering of the stones. According the historical archives from the Canberra Liberal Arts College, British galleons who have crossed the Torres Strait often had survivors reporting their crewmates having heat strokes or drowing from water sinking into the ship during stormy weather. The ship The Manchester was one such occassion. The Manchester, from ship records, departed from the Port of London with 1,000 soldiers onboard and had an objective of cleansing the aboriginal populace that settled in Sydney Harbor. However, after crossing the Torres Strait, the ship capsized and sank off the coast of what is now Brisbane. More ships which had malicious objectives that have crossed the strait also had histories of capsizing within the course of the 18th century. It was until 1975 when a diving cohort in Cairns managed to discover the vein of Dionium off its coast.

The Bomb

Referencing from previous studies regarding Dionium material, scientisits that conceived the bomb later inferred that if their goal in destroying something was benevolent in nature, such as in an act of self-defense, the Dionium may enhance the effects of the bomb as a whole, such as doubling the blast radius of the explosion. After smaller mock-ups of the Dionium Bomb were created, and the tests proved satisfactory in the hypotheses, funding was granted in the creation of five of these bombs. The project of manufacturing these bombs was codenamed Megascatterbomb.

Expedition ISEKAI

Dimensional Rift

It was theorized that due to the anguish caused by the war, the Dionium explosions produced five dimensional portals into another 'Earth'. Hearing such a claim did spark some controversy, but eventually came true as a 'waterfall lake' with a radius of 20 kilometers appeared in the mouth of the Yangtze River.

Hearing such discoveries, a frigate was sent to the vicinity to inspect and survey it. Upon reaching the site, the inward currents were so powerful that it dropped straight into the hole of the lake. One 'double darer' (a colloquial term for an individual who was able to go back from the other world) recounted that traversing through the rift felt like 'a drug induced fever dream'. The frigate was then discovered later on to be damageless and fully docked at what is now the MRT Marina.

Disappearance of the Frigate

Another small ship was sent after the frigate in search for it. It was also the first ship to travel back into Earth from the Yangtze Rift. A letter from Captain Dick Richardson to Navy Commander Sir Jonathan Balagtas accounts the event:

Letter to Commander Balagtas, 2050
From the Municipal Intelligence Agency - Asulton
Commander Balagtas,

It is indeed a pleasure to be back on Earth after so long. We have discovered a new world that the underground settlements can perhaps setttle in. It is lush with greenery, bountiful with the fauna we find on Earth, and there is plenty of room to start anew. I believe the world here has progressed as much as we did, however I did find its infrastructure quite astonishing: a global railway around the world! It seems they have much more Dionium than we do. In fact, dionium is used primarily in the construction of their settlements. In here, it seems the people here have invented Dionium flight and use wands of wood in the dictation of intricate sequences for the satisfactory result of a constructed building. It amazes me quite... I believe this can be an opportunity for our war-ridden country to start over. I truly do, Sir. The settlers here are pretty friendly themselves. Sometimes I think we're in some sort of Heaven. Anyways, I will be detailing this in further depth in our meeting at the Lapu-Lapu FSA Command Center in a fortnight's time.

Deadbush City and the merger with Southfields

Deadbush City at year 2018 MRT

In the year 2058 (2018 MRT), the first settlers arrived in the shores of the northern Grand Mesa. These settlers were mostly Filipino in origin, as the Philippines was the first country that discovered the route to the interdimensional portal to the New World. Settling in a valley between Heampstead and the Zuid Plateau, these Filipinos toiled in terracotta mines and red sand refineries, slowly adjusting to the vastly drier and more arid Mesa climate while slowly building up the settlement.

A much developed town south of what is now Deadbush Pioneer, namely Southfields, initiated contact with the settlers, and after much negotiation, agreed on a merger between it and Deadbush. A road was paved along the ridgeside of the Zuid Plateau, which eventually became the iconic Union Avenue.

The Discovery of Stack

Deadbush Centro Station - during construction, Moj was sent to WorldEdit school by Robin

Growth in Deadbush at this time was quite slow. Construction of buildings along Union Avenue were going on a rather slow pace, with occassional shortages of motivation happening from time to time.

The mayor recently ratified the construction of its first railway station, situated directly above one of the railway lines on the server. With MojangChan (Moj's username at that time) not knowing what he was doing, Robin sent him to WorldEdit school. It was at his time at WorldEdit School that he began to think to himself: If I can make a part of a building and stack it n amount of times, I can possibly cut the time I build by at most three quarters. This was experimented in the Pylon Building, the first ever Mojangitis skyscraper in Deadbush.

With the experimental success and a few minor tweaks to the construction process, Deadbush was set for a massive construction boom that set the course of Mojangitis to what it is today.

Construction Boom

A noticeable surge in construction of buildings started when Deadbush applied for [Senator]. As the urban footprint of the city looked rather fugly, a secondary arterial road was created and the construction of new areas began. It was at this point that areas such as the Deadbush I.T. Park, NewPark, and New Intramuros were built. In a span of two weeks, it was able to unanimously get approved for the rank. However, development did not stop there. Ambitious plans to urbanize the entire Zuid Plateau went into full swing. The central campus of the University of Deadbush, was built. Chinatown was created to accomodate the influx of a new Nanyang. Burolsburg was constructed to meet growing demands for better housing. Among other projects, airfields and airports were built to enhance connections to other places within the New World. Starting with Deadbush Northeast Airfield, it eventually expanded to the much larger West Mesa International Airport.

With rapid construction abound, many towns and cities knew that  [Premier]  would be given to it soon.

Deadbush was promoted to  [Premier]  on December 3, 2018 with unanimous approval.
