Houghton (pronounced "huff-tin") is a town located at O5 on the Old World and was founded on December 31, 2013. Its three mayors are jphgolf4321, Music3_0, and megascatterbomb.
History
Founded on December 31, 2013, Houghton was the last of the three towns jphgolf4321 built on the Old World. It is the smallest Lacledic Republic Old World settlement, given that it shares O5 Station with Autotown. It was constructed during the Orange Line building boom when it originally opened. The town was created as a result of a compromise between jphgolf4321 and autobus22 to split the station. Houghton took over the west, and Autotown took the east.
Buildings in Houghton include the Shell (the first non-MRTSA arena jphgolf4321 built), the O5 tram (the first metro in any of the jphgolf4321's towns), and the Five-Seven Line (the first line built by the Redstoneless Metro Service).
