InterMap Highway System
The InterMap Highway System is the road network for the Old World. It was started by Benie with construction of InterMap 0. The InterMap shield and system is based on the United States Interstate Highway System. When Benie was building I-0, he looked at real Interstates and copied them as best as he could in Minecraft at the time. There are 15 InterMap highways on the Old World. Secondary routes were also created on the Old World, like MRT Routes, based on U.S. Routes, and Server Routes, based on State Routes. The successor to the system, the New World Highway system, uses the United Kingdom's highway numbering scheme unlike the InterMaps.

Brief History
I-0 was named as I-0 so that it would not have the name of a real-life Interstate. I-0, originally the Western Highway, was built so Benie could have road access to Gund Valley, where he resided at the time. The highway, the first InterMap, originally went from Gund Valley, under the Gund River, across the Old World, going under Ryzon, where it turned north where it would end at the International Airport. Later the eastern part was rebuilt, with the highway being extended in preparation for I-1, and being elevated to above ground and rerouted north of Ryzon, with the original siding to the Airport redesignated as I-301. It also had one other spur, I-101 (later redesignated I-100), constructed to provide access to Spawn City. With I-1's completion, it is currently finished, although changes may occur in the future, such as the adding of more exits in Fairfax. There is a debate on whether I-0 should have a spur in the Northwestern area going east or west, though the latter is impeded by the fact that there is a Western Ocean. Warning there is a stretch that is stone and therefore not ucar compatible its from Atlanta to before the I-100 interchange

I-100
Brief History
The route of I-100 was originally that of the Northern Highway, a road built by General_Rommel that went north from Spawn City. Since I-0, the only InterMap at the time, was so far from Spawn City, a quicker link was demanded. So, Benie upgraded the Northern Highway to InterMap status and designated it as I-101. Later on, after much debate, it was redesignated as I-100 since it made more sense. Not much more change has happened since then.

I-300
Brief History
I-300 was originally the section of I-0 from Ryzon to the MRT International Airport, built by Benie, chiefbozx, yeamanator132, and BossOfGames. However, I-0 was rerouted east past Ryzon in preparation for the construction of I-1. The old section was redesignated I-301. However, later on it was redesignated again to I-300, which made more sense. Most of the highway has not changed, although construction has began on a section going east and ending northeast of Hardesty.

Brief History
Soleurs came up with the plan, but initially Benie rejected it. Later Benie realized that I-1's routing would make it perfect to link the growing eastern side of the server, linking I-0 with I-3, and construction started shortly after that. The road initially opened as an open-toll road akin to the US's New York Thruway, with toll plazas located near the northern terminus, just north of the eastern end of the concurrency with I-3, and in the Andromeda Tunnel. However, after complaints from members (and Benie), the toll plazas were removed. Later, on Benie's insistence, the road was rerouted to bypass Zip City, with the old routing redesignated as I-201.

I-201
Brief History
Originally part of I-1, Benie later rerouted I-1 on a viaduct and under a tunnel to take a more direct route, bypassing Zip City. However, since the old route was the only road connection to Zip City, the old route was redesignated as I-201, becoming the first loop of the MRT.

Brief History
Route was originally that of the Audenville Highway, a wooden viaduct that went east to Audenville. Later some owners of cities in the area upgraded it to an InterMap, leaving nothing but a tiny piece. Unlike the Audenville Highway however, I-3 bypassed Crystal City to the south, passing through a tunnel. However, like the Audenville Highway, I-3 uses the tolled BlueSpring Bridge between Bluemont and Silver Spring, the only tolled part of the InterMap system. I-3 later had some changes, such as the addition of a concurrency with I-1, and an extension to Cyra, however it has mostly remained the same throughtout the years.

Brief History
Also known as the South-Express Highway or Miningstone Highway. I-104 is the southern counterpart to I-100, and was built by unjinz to provide expressway access to I-4 from Spawn City. The road's main touch ups was its Spawn City portion being moved underground in the SCTC road project, and the addition of new exits in the Amphitheatre area.

The road also peculiarly has a concurrency with MRT-66 within Kitania.
