JiffyAir, formerly Luz, is an airline owned by Multi Corporation through its Jiffy subsidiary. The airline aims to operate direct flights in the New World while providing quality in-flight service.

History

In October 2021, Variety Brands CEO STthecat teased the formation of an upcoming airline under the Magnolia (now Multi Properties) brand. On October 27, 2021, the new airline was formally announced to the public as Luz, after the protagonist of the Disney Channel series The Owl House, Luz Noceda.

After several fleet orders and delays, Luz commenced operations on November 29, 2021, with a single flight from its hub in Miu Wan to North Haven Riverside Airfield using leased Stratus ST-120 planes.

On December 10, 2021, Luz joined the HiWorld Alliance, becoming the first new member since the date of the alliance's inception. This allowed Luz to gain further expansion with 3 new flights to 2 new destinations in Fort Yaxier and Venceslo. Luz finally launched its first medium-haul flights with Climax N210 aircraft on December 22nd, from its third hub at Chan Bay International Airport.

Later that month, Sandstone Airr negotiated a merger with Luz and the latter subsequently confirmed the merger. However, on January 23rd, the merger was cancelled and Luz instead announced a merger with Cypress Air, which also never materalised to this day.

On March 25, 2022, Luz became the launch customer for Multi Heavy Industries' MHI-20 series as a whole, when it ordered the MHI-21 to replace its ST-120 fleet which were due to return to FlyLumeva. The MHI-21 entered revenue service with Luz on April 1, 2022 on a round trip flight between Miu Wan and Cornwall.

Luz was rebranded to its current name of JiffyAir on June 29, 2022, when it was reorganised under Multi Corporation’s Jiffy. The Luz trademark was sold to the Hornet Company in July that year.

On July 2, 2022, Parkland Frampton Airfield opened as JiffyAir's first purpose-built hub.

JiffyAir announced a major network change on July 16, 2022, with all aircraft being repainted into the new livery and its code and callsign changed to avoid confusion with FlyLumeva.

JiffyAir left the HiWorld Alliance and immediately joined the SkyTransit Alliance on October 25, 2022.

MHI-21

A MHI-21 at Parkland Frampton Airfield (PFR), operating as JiffyAir flight 113 to Polytan International Airport (PIA).

The Multi Heavy Industries MHI-21 is a small regional jet, serving as the backbone of JiffyAir’s fleet. JiffyAir was the launch customer for the MHI-21, as well as the MHI-20 series as a whole, on April 1, 2022. It replaced the existing mainline fleet of Stratus ST-120 aircraft in December 2022 on all routes. Due to size limitations compared to the ST-120, the MHI-21 can only seat 2 Regional Economy passengers, however the aircraft can be used in almost any gate compared to the ST-120.

Soeing S1

A Soeing S1 at Hamblin North Savannah Port, operating as JiffyAir flight 51 to Dogwood Blackhawk Heliport & Seaport.

The only seaplane operated by JiffyAir, the Soeing S1 is used for seaplane routes that are branded as JiffySea. JiffyAir ordered the Soeing S1 on November 15, 2022, making it the first and only Soeing plane used by the airline to date. The Soeing S1 fleet seats 2 Regional Economy passengers.

Climax N210

A Climax N210 at Deadbush International Airport (DBI), operating as JiffyAir flight 302 to Chan Bay International Airport (CBI).

The Climax N210 is a medium-sized aircraft intended for short to medium-haul flights, and the successor to the Climax N110 already in use by Paklong Hibernal. JiffyAir initally leased the N210 in December 2021 as the launch customer for the type to compensate for the already booked flights for JiffyAir’s medium-haul routes, but their success and Stratus failing to deliver the ST-210s on schedule caused JiffyAir to replace its ST-210 orders with N210s.

JiffyAir’s N210 fleet can each seat a total of 12 passengers, 10 in Economy configured in a 1-1 layout and 2 in Business.

UDAC Dash Four

The UDAC Dash Four was the fourth plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first large jet built by the company. JiffyAir ordered the Dash Four alongside the Dash Eleven on August 10, 2022.

JiffyAir’s Dash Four fleet can each seat a total of 36 passengers, 30 in Economy configured in a 1-1-1 layout and 6 in Business configured in a 1-1 layout.

Climax N310

A Climax N310 parked in the JiffyAir lab, currently not in service.

The Climax N310 is a large-sized wide-body airliner, the first of such aircraft in the N series and the successor to the Climax CL10. On November 26, 2022, JiffyAir became the launch customer for the N310 when it preordered the type to replace the UDAC Dash Eleven, which was similar in size but had a lower capacity. JiffyAir's N310 are painted in the new livery and are the first aircraft to feature revamped cabin classes.

JiffyAir’s N310 fleet can each seat a total of 56 passengers, 50 in Economy configured in a 1-3-1 layout, 4 in Business configured in a 1-1 layout and 2 in two Premier suites.

Former fleet

UDAC Dash Eleven

An UDAC Dash Eleven parked in the JiffyAir lab, currently not in service.

The UDAC Dash Eleven was the eleventh plane built by the United Dutch Aviation Corporation, and the first bilevel jet built by the company. JiffyAir ordered the Dash Eleven alongside the Dash Four on August 10, 2022, however all of the Dash Eleven fleet was sold off in November 2022 and replaced by the Climax N310.

JiffyAir’s Dash Eleven fleet could each seat a total of 35 passengers, 32 in Economy configured in a 1-1-1 layout, 2 in Business configured in a 1-1 layout and 1 in a Premier residence.

Stratus ST-120

A Stratus ST-120 at Peacopolis International Airport (PCE), operating as JiffyAir flight 1 to Miu Wan Tseng Tsz Leng International Airport (MWT). Both the ST-120 and the route no longer exist, having been replaced by the MHI-21 and rerouted to Parkland Frampton Airfield respectively.

Part of Stratus Aircraft’s ST-100 family of mainline small aircraft, the Stratus ST-120 was the backbone of JiffyAir’s fleet until the introduction of the MHI-21, eventually retiring from service on December 11, 2022 and subsequently sold off. The ST-120 is neither too small nor too big, and suitable for use at any airport on the server. The ST-120 was leased from FlyLumeva (now Astrella) and carries 3 Regional Economy passengers.
