JHR is the official rail-based transit authority of the Juhwa Islands. It is mainly split into two different departments: JuhwaRail, and JuhwaMetro.

History

Janghwa Era (2015 - 2017)

When Janghwa M.C. was being established, it was laid upon a junction between the MRT Mesa Line and the MRT Circle Line. As the Circle Line curved north right next to the Mesa Line, Janghwa City ended up having too many MRT stations densely packed within its territory. Because of this, Janghwa City was unable to seriously consider a proper train-based transit system.

Soon after, the government of Janghwa M.C. launched their official transportation agency, JanghwaGyotong (Korean: 장화교통), but they only focused on road infrastructures and road-based transportation. They attempted to create a warp-train metro transit between M22 and C74 as the two stations were next to each other but had no connection. Along with this, a rough plan of three other warp-train metro lines were set, which eventually created a local metro system plan for Janghwa City. To ensure success, JanghwaGyotong formed a separate team under the name JanghwaRail to focus better on this project.

Later on, RaiLinQ had plans to service Janghwa M.C. and a greater rail authority was being requested by the city. JanghwaGyotong upgraded JanghwaRail into a subsidary so that they can manage the entire rail department on behalf of JanghwaGyotong. This was the point where JanghwaRail took on a new acronym of JHR to symbolize their flexibility between their original metro transit (JangHwa Rail) and international rail with higher speeds (Janghwa Highspeed Rail).

But around 2016, a territorial scuffle occured between Janghwa City and _frozen, and C74 became blocked from access. As a result, the metro plan was suddenly scrapped, and irritated JanghwaGyotong wasn't eager to give rail transit a chance anymore. This caused a strong friction against the JHR and protests followed.

But by this time, Janghwa City was beginning to experience chaos as anarchy and bankruptcy ensued, and the drama between JanghwaGyotong and JHR followed the dramatic trend. By February of 2017, Janghwa City was annexed by Ophelia Confederation, and the administrators of both JanghwaGyotong and JHR exited the city and terminated service.

Juhwa Era (2017 -)

When the MRT Gamma World expanded, the former mayor of Janghwa M.C. moved to a chain of islands to establish The Juhwa Islands. Since no MRT Transit lines were around, this gave a major ground for local rail transit to succeed. The newly immigrated JHR administration retained their initials, but replaced their city of service on their name from JanghwaRail to JuhwaRail. Construction on the transit system went effective immediately since the first day of the establishment of The Royal Govermment.

In addition, people began referring to the transit system as JuhwaMetro rather than JuhwaRail, but kept referring "JHR" as its initials. This prompted the JHR to split into two different sectors- one for its local metro system, and the other for major trains.

JuhwaRail

JuhwaRail ( Korean: 주화철도 'Juhwa Cheoldo' / Japanese: 洲化鉄道 'Shuka Tetsudo' ) is the rail transit authority servicing under the Juhwa Islands. It administrates the transnational rail system, the metro transit system, and all of the rail stations located within Juhwa Islands. The main headquarters is located at Juhwa-Inok Station and manages the transnational rail, whereas the other two headquarters which manages the metro transit are located at Juhwa-Sagal Station and Juhwa-Chusu Station.
