Keriyowna is a town founded by Worrski on July 16, 2020; the day she was promoted to Member. It borders Renfrew and Ward 8 to the west, Winter Wind to the east, Skogheim to the north, and Norfolk to the south. It has an exit on the A92, where the highway intersects with the Keriyowna Parkway.
In October 2020, the town was transferred to Vulpicula after Worrski was indefinitely banned from the server. After Vulpicula left the server in July 2021, it was then transferred ownership to Larkspur founder VickiTori, who also took ownership of Vulpicula's other northern town Borealia. In March 2022, original founder Worrski was unbanned from the server, and shortly after Vicki returned ownership to her. Keriyowna was awarded the rank of Councillor on May 25, 2022, and Mayor on June 30, 2022.
History
In 1901, miners came to an area of tundra that was said to have a high potential for gold and other important minerals. It didn't have much, but it was near a railroad and a small nature road connecting the mines to a small village which would soon be known as Larkspur. The families of the miners moved to the mining town and the area soon started getting into shape.
When many people migrated from the Old World, the town experienced a much-needed boost. The railroad that laid in the middle of Keriyowna would be upgraded into the new MRT system, where Keriyowna would be served by the MRT Northern Line. When the New World started construction of a highway system, Keriyowna would get an exit on the A92 highway. Keriyowna also built a rest area on the road going from the A92 to Keriyowna. As this was the only rest stop miles around, many people were brought to the small village of Keriyowna, where they could shop on Charlotte Street, watch a game of spleef, or just play in the snow.
In 2022, a massive sinkhole tore through the central part of the city, giving Keriyowna the affectionate nickname "Sinkhole City".

Rail
Keriyowna Central was completed in June 2022. Its inaugural train service opened on July 12, 2022; a Fred Rail shuttle to Winter Wind.
Road
Keriyowna has been connected to the A92 by the Keriyowna Parkway (B992). However, an extension of the parkway was passed at the May 2022 GSM sending it north to neighbouring town Skogheim, and since then the road has been closed for construction.
Bus
The Sleepy Hollow Bus Terminal is being planned for the town and will begin construction sometime in the summer of 2022.
Neighbourhoods
On May 21, 2022, worrski published the Keriyowna Redevelopment Plan, which segmented the town into multiple neighbourhoods. Said planned neighbourhoods are as follows;
Old Town
The centre of the town is located in Old Town. This area features the oldest buildings in the town and features a large amount of the original village that started the town of Keriyowna. It also features most of Keriyowna's outside transit, including the MRT station NW33 Foobar and the Keriyowna Central train hub.
Wilson Park
Wilson Park (known as Gira Park until 2022) is Keriyowna's main city park and one of the largest in the Aurora region. It is also the home of the Aero Arena and upcoming Aurora Amphitheatre.
Rainier Village
Rainier Village can be considered the "downtown" area of Keriyowna. It is east of Old Town and Wilson Park. It has a lively scene of shops, restaurants, and other things to do. Most importantly, it is home to Aurora University, located at NW32 Foobar.
Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow is a suburb of Keriyowna. It is directly north of Wilson Park and borders the city of Skogheim. The name is a reference to the village in New York and the short story that takes place in it, though it can also be interpreted as a satirical description of the town's distant and lifeless nature. Despite this, the town has upcoming plans to boost its economy.
Climate
Keriyowna has a year-round sub-arctic climate. Winters are long and cold, tending to last the entirety of November-May. The town also receives a large amount of snowfall every winter. The coldest temperature recorded in Keriyowna was -31.6°C (-25.0°F), which was measured on December 11, 2000, during the historically fierce 2000 Aurora blizzard. The warmest temperature recorded was 40.8°C (105.4°F), which was measured on August 4, 2020.
