Liston is a new town founded by SoSo123, founded on 14th January 2018 and is at the far southern plains.
Lore
Prehistoric Times
Fossils trait that Liston was first arrived by humans back in around 27K years ago, via the Yaxier Peninsula then the Midsouth Arctic Corridor, then southwest to Liston. As an area full of lakes and rivers, the aboriginals here were very happy with their landscape and settled there.
A New Empire - Berrandian Era (~1300BC - ~970BC)
In 1300 BC, Berrandians, who used to exist around present day Zerez, sailed along the seashore from their original controlled area southwards to present day Liston. Listonian aboriginals lived a peaceful life and did not do much weaponary inventions and stuff, and was defeated easily by the Berrandians, who want to create their own empire, starting from the invasion of Liston.
Following the invasion of Liston, the Berrandians extended their empire to present day Whiteley, Schillerton, Elecna Bay, Fort Yaxier, Harton Bay and Columnville. However, the huge empire did not really care about their people, and collapsed at around 970BC.
Short Time Of Peace - Pre-Cinq Gierre Period (~970BC - ~900BC)
After the empire's collapsion, the remaining Berrandians stayed at Berrandia, and the small group of people there was sadly attacked and being stamped to history forever, due to nearby tribes constantly attacking them. For Liston, groups of people stayed there and continued their peaceful lives. At the time, the people were a mix of around 20% as aboriginals, 20% as Berrandians and with the remaining as modern Listonians, which look similarly to present day ones. Ancient numbers were also brought to Liston around this time, and the first official population count was released here, at 963BC, with a population of around 10K, which is a lot at the time.
The First Civil War Recorded In Listonian History - Cinq Gierre (~900BC - 858BC)
In around 900BC, people at Liston decided to form groups, and fights started. During this time, most groups had to fight and eat up smaller ones. The era is called Cinq Gierre, since there were 5 major groups that survived after 858BC.
Peace At Last - Devided Kingdom Period (858BC - 797BC)
Following the end of the era of Cinq Gierfe, the last 5 major groups agreed that they should form a kingdom, but with the land divided into 5 wards, with a king reigining each ward. This peace period has a clay seal shown in each ward to prove that they agree to this solution for peace. This peace period not only allowed a better civilisation to grow, but also improved the lives of their people. A simple language was formed as well during this time. The era continued until 797BC, which one of the wards decided that they wanted more land, and ate all other 4 wards to form a single area.
Expanding And Dividing - Crestmoon Period (797 BC - 604BC)
The Crestmoon Period, or era brought Liston a lot of new things. New land, new rivers, new lakes. During this period, Liston's controlled land greatly expanded, west to present day Lowami and east to the hills. However, the king decided to divide his land to some other people he trust, and they became wards. (yes, again.) A simple language was formed in order for the writing system to work, and to name the wards. There were 10 wards at the time, and they are called Portewest, Alevierra, Castromonte, Deliruma, Vertanga, Liston, Diamont, Lacbouche, Grismonter and Fleurciel respectively. The idea of flags in Liston was born around this time, and each ward had a flag for themselves. Towns and cities were founded along the wards, with the biggest of the time being Cyngerive (Largest pop. - 50K), Emeraude (Largest pop. - 70K) and Clocheporte (Largest pop. - 100K)
Another Invasion - Demiglande Period (604BC - 499 BC)
In the year of 604BC, tribes from Oasis Sands was creating an empire all the way south to the western part of Crestmoon. The westernmost wards, Portewest, Allevierra and Castromonte was occupied by the Oasandians. 2 years later, the central of the kingdom, Liston was also severely attacked, following the loss of Deliruma, Vertanga and Diamont, with the main cities of Cyngerive and Emeraude destroyed along the way. The central of the kingdom barely survived. East of Diamont, Lacbouche was also under control of the Oasandians. However, the people at Liston kept defending Grismonter and Fleurciel, and finally, Diamont, Vertanga, Deliruma and Castromonte was given back to Crestmoon at 546BC. Despite the Oasandians were then defending their central kingdom at Oasis Sands, the land of Portewest and Alevierra was never given back to Crestmoon due to various traps leaven on the way, as well as new occupiers not willing to allow the land back to Crestmoon. However, Fleurciel, Diamont, Vertanga and Deliruma was occupied as well. All remaining wards fought together for the land, but sadly failed. At 509BC, Castromonte and Grismont was occupied as well. By 502BC, only Diamont and Liston remain. The Demiglande period finally ended when Crestmoon, renamed as Liston, somehow got a stretch of land going southwest, named Sudvert.
A Better Civilisation - Clocheporte Period (499BC - 654AD)
After the Demiglande period, Liston has reached peace with neighbouring people, with trades going in and out all the time. Clocheporte, now with a population of 110K is an important gateway to the other places. An empty area was made for cultural uses. Music pieces, art and other simple sculptures are also found in this period. A set of law was also made here. This was the golden period of ancient Liston, which ended in 654AD when Clocheporte's district of Nordporte was burnt into ash by a nearby tribe.
Borders And Battles - Riviere Period (654AD - 808AD)
The burning of the district of Nordporte shocked the whole kingdom, and was brought to the attention of the king and his assistances. After a discussion, King Haute declared war to the tribe that burnt Nordporte. The tribe had about 300 hundred people, however they were trained for battles, and it was still very hard to defeat them, but they were eventually defeated by the Listonians, who suffered great loss too, with a population drop by around 35% at the central city of Clocheporte. This was called the Red Feather Battle (655AD - 657AD), due to the tribe members having red feathers sticked on their chests.
After that, Clocheporte was renamed to Riviere, which means "river". The name of the period was named after the new name of the central city. The kingdom also declared itself an empire after getting a batch of land west of Sudvert.
However, after the rename, the city of Riviere did not regenerate too quickly. This caused the nearby tribes trying to extend their borders by attacking land at or near Liston. The last attempt in written history by the tribes was at 796AD, and were called the "grass heads" by the locals. After the long time of war and battles, the empire decided to give out several policies for cultural means to extend and grow. The period finally ended in 808AD, when Riviere finally reached the pre-battle population of 110K.
The Cultural Influences Of Other Places - Woodport Era (808AD - 1284AD)
In the year of 814AD, the construction of the widening of Woodport, the main port of Riviere at the time was finished. At around 1004AD, a nearby empire, called Averians came southeast to Liston, who used to live in the northern part of USSW and it's norther areas. They imported various spices and a new architecture. They helped us improve it. Averlis, the CBD of Liston is named after them. After this, Liston remained friends with the Averian empire. However, the Averian empire was severely attacked by the Mitorrian empire, which was directly north of the Averians. The start of the war (Wellbierre War) marked the end of the Woodport Era.

Our department of transport contains metro, buses and ferry. Currently, nothing is in service but we are planning stuff as the city expands.
Liston Metro
We currently plan 2 lines for Liston Metro. One of them is the Northshore Line while the other is the Dirbelle Line.
