MGA Season 1 is the first season for the MRT Golf Association.

Format
There are 4 tournaments in the MGA Season 1, and players can play in as many as they want, with some events having no player limit. However, only the top 2 scores (in terms of points won) will be counted toward their final points standings. This was done to avoid the problem of having players force themselves to make an event (if they have an event in real life) to increase their points standings rating.
Points Distribution
All tournaments aside from the 2018 Summer Olympics gave points equal to the prize money won. For example, if a player wins 60 dollars from an event they win 60 MGA Points. The 2018 Summer Olympics, however, gave away points equal to (number of shots under par * 10). So, if a player shot -7 in the Olympics, they would get 70 MGA Points.
End of season prize money
- 1st: 300
- 2nd: 200
- 3rd: 150
- 4th: 100
- 5th: 50
- All other players to play in 3 events: 30
- All other players to play in 2 events: 20
- All other players to play in 1 event: 10
Total: 1,030
This was originally denied at the June 2018 GSM, so Talon raised the sponsorship fees (accepting unlimited sponsors) to make it happen

- 2. ^ In between the Olympics and the Roy Disney Championship, London150 and CondinYT played a 1v1 match in Hendon. CondinYT won 10 points for winning. These 10 points were then nullified with his Roy Disney Championship score

- coolwolfpower was the only girl to play in an MGA event this season, she finished 12th with 55 points
- Red_Ray's playoff loss to Cortesi in the IntraAir Open cost him 50 MGA Points and 6 spots
- _Kastle won the Season 0 tournament, the AirKirde-North Coast Championship by 2 shots. However, he did not win any events in Season 1, nor get a top 3. He finished 10th with 65 points
- The largest jump from one spot to another was when London150 jumped from T18 to 3rd after his 2nd place finish in the Roy Disney Championship
