The MRT Jungle Line, or simply the Jungle Line, is one of the 22 lines of the New World MRT System and one of the 11 additional New World MRT lines.

History

In Frumple's Epsilon MRT plans at the May 2017 GSM, the Jungle Line first appeared. However, in this plan, it did not have an official name, instead being labeled as the "far east" line, with the route of that line would run in East Epsilon area.

In October 2017 GSM, the "far east" line was now officially named Jungle Line, in reference to the only naturally-occuring jungle at this time and would use jungle wood, due to being out of wool block colors to choose from.

In February 2018 GSM, AP_Red proposed the northern part of the Jungle Line, connecting MRT Eastern Line and MRT Forest Line together, with provisions for MRT Expo Line and MRT Northern Line. It ran from Verdantium at  JN16  to Forest Line at  JS14 . The northern section, from  JN16  to  JS1  opened in April 2018 GSM while the southern section from  JS1  to  JS14  opened in June 2018 GSM.

In February 2020 GSM, AP_Red proposed an extension of Jungle South to Sunshine Coast. It opened in April 2020 GSM.

In the Zeta MRT plans by Frumple at April 2020, either Jungle North or Eastern North would be chosen to cross the Northern Ocean, before ending in northern Zeta. Jungle South would be extended south into the mesa south of Sunshine Coast and then end in the taiga near Lake 50.

In the June 2020 GSM, _Mossie took up the extension of Jungle Line into Secunda. As part of the extension, the  JN16  station in Verdantium was closed.

In the September 2022 ISM, pretzel33 and Zuoj proposed a extension of Jungle Line south into  JS48 , with a plan to cross the mesa biome, based off from a plan created by chimata. The extension was sponsored by Missa_Solemnis and opened in October 2022 GSM. Then, in the October 2022 ISM, Zuoj proposed another extension south to Quinston to meet with the upcoming MRT Union Line and sponsored by Missa_Solemnis. It opened in January 20, 2023 after the form for claiming lines along this extension was closed.

In the Zeta MRT plans by Frumple at November 2022, Jungle North would either head north, passing through a mushroom peninsula or head east into Encinitas while Jungle South would go south, serving the southeastern mesa.

In the final MRT line plan by Frumple, Jungle North instead now heads east to Encinitas, with the northern extension being removed from the plan because it went through Itokani, and McYoshi26, the mayor indicated he didn't want MRT through Itokani, which wasn't mentioned in the MRT plans in November 2022. A Jungle North extension plan by Zuoj to Biwabik was killed because he didn't know about Yoshi saying he didn't want MRT 1 hour later after the plan was posted.

The Jungle Line runs from Secunda to Quinston via Bawktown, the large jungle biome, in Ward 3 and the Premier city of Sunshine Coast. The current travel duration for the line's entire length is about 126 minutes.

Jungle Line North Extension

The Secunda Spiral, located between JN18 and JN19 stations.

The line starts at Secunda in JN19 station. After leaving JN19 station, it goes on the "Secunda Spiral", officially named the "Clifton Corkscrew" by _Mossie, in order to rise from underground into an elevated viaduct, then passing through central Secunda, until JN16 where it goes into an viaduct with a railway below, on the way to JN15 station, where at this point, the concurrency with MRT Eastern Line begins.

The particular extension, especially the Secunda Spiral won the "Outstanding MRT Line Extension" award on The Glowlight Awards, and attracted praise. According to _Mossie, the Secunda Spiral was built in around a month and a spiral was used due to space considerations, especially the Civic Center station at JN19.

Jungle Line North

In the concurrency with MRT Eastern Line, after going through Verdantium, the line goes across a forest biome before entering a taiga biome. In Dwarka, a transfer to MRT Northern Line is available, and the concurrency ends with MRT Eastern Line turning to the west to join a concurrency with MRT Northern Line on the way to Nymphalia.

The line used to go to Fenwick Square, at EN33, but that section was closed and demolished when the northern extension to Secunda was built. What remains of its old alignment is a valley where the viaduct used to be, the platforms at Fenwick Square station, formerly numbered JN16 and trackways northwest of this station.

After the concurrency with MRT Eastern Line, the line continues across the taiga biome, passing through Kevtropolis, Upwick and Quinault. Then, it goes across a plains biome and a mountain biome, passing through Ashburn, Redbridge, Manhasset, Lumia and Bawktown. In J0 station at Bawktown, a transfer to MRT Expo Line is available. This station is designed in a "+" shape, with the arrival and departure bays being separated with a huge central square, where MRT Expo Line and MRT Jungle Line meet in an at-grade junction.

Jungle Line South

The exterior of JS5 station in January 2021. Jungle Line is one of the two lines to pass through a jungle biome.

After Bawktown, the line enters the large jungle biome, in which the line was named after. Towns along this line in the large jungle biome include Jungleville and Chansee. The line remains at ground until south of Chansee, where it goes underground.

The line leaves the jungle biome after JS9 station, across a plain biome, then forest and mountain biomes, passing through Riverpoint, Cadencia and Endor. On the way to JS14 station, MRT Forest Line from Marblegate turns to the south to parallel with this line, with a transfer at JS14 station, in Vancouver.

Jungle Line South Extension

The line then continues across the forest biomes on the way to Kantō. After passing through Eastlake, it arrives at Hannibal, where a transfer to MRT Plains Line is available, then passing through New Dublinium and Memphis on the way to Kantō.

In Kantō, the line goes underground and curves to follow Kantō's roads, until JS23. After going undergrounds, it curves to follow Yubaba Road, with JS22 located below. Then, it turns to an unnamed road before turning into another unnamed road going north-south, before said road terminates north of JS23. On the way to Kantō International Airport, which is served by JS24 and JS25 stations, it parallels Hisaishi Avenue.

The line then leaves Kanto, passing through desert and savannah biomes. Towns along the section are Pride City, B, Hempdon and Boberton, the last town before entering Bahia. Between JS32 and JS33 stations, a copper marker marks Bahia's border. In Bahia, it stops at Port Mimosa, Torres River and Sunshine Coast, going counterclockwise around Thanos Bay. The line also serves Sunshine Coast Máspalmas International Airport, located at JS37. According to AP_Red, who built this extension, the reason for this routing is because the idea of Zeta expansion "wasn't on the cards".

Jungle Line South Extension 2

While still in Bahia, the line crosses Thanos Bay to Mojangsburg, passing through Singlwurst, then serving Mojangsburg-Pretoria Capital Airport, located at JS42 station, then Pretoria. The line descends to a Y level of -5 in order to avoid many tunnels under the Bahia area, especially BluRail. IntraRail and SCMTA. Due to that, it became the first MRT line to go under Y=0 since the MRT Server was updated to 1.18.2. The style in this extension features stone walls with jungle wood poles and jungle wood roof, and a quartz bottom with a brown centerline and sea lanterns covered by trapdoors in tunnels and its viaducts has stone sides with jungle wood poles where the sea lanterns would be placed, and a dark oak overhan, supported by quartz columns with a brown concrete core.

Then, the line leaves Bahia, going overground until Penang where the line goes underground again to cross Coral Sea, descending to a Y level of -6, the deepest section in the entire MRT system. It visits some islands on the way, such as Mayumi Islands at JS47 station.

Jungle Line South Extension 3

The style in this extension is like Jungle South Extension 2, except the trapdoors are replaced with brown carpets, and orange terracotta run down on the sides. The line continues its journey under Coral Sea, entering the big southern mesa. In JS50 station, the line then ascends, but still remaining deep underground. It isn't until after JS52 station that it ascends above ground, having already passed Rock Ridge and Vale Oeste.

In the big southern mesa, it stays mostly above ground north of JS57 except for the section north of Santo Polvo, at JS53. It crosses over some waterways, including crossing a lake where Congelar sits on. South of JS56, it parallels SEVR tracks. After JS57 station, with a brief tunnel section beforehand, the line then goes underground under the mesa plateaus, with open-air sections where the line meets valleys where rivers run through. After passing through Comma, the line begins to descend in order to cross Coral Sea again. At this point, the line then enters the Glowing Bay area.

In Glowing Bay, the line ascends briefly around JS62 station in Peach Bay to avoid colliding with SEVR tracks, before crossing Coral Sea for a third time. After that, the line terminates at JS63 station in Quinston, where a transfer to MRT Union Line is available.
