The MRT Oasis Line, or simply the Oasis Line, is one of the 22 lines of the New World MRT system and one of the 11 additional New World MRT lines.
Names that were considered for the line before deciding on the Oasis Line included the 'Kelp Line', 'Knight Line' and the 'Glacier Line'.
History
In the Zeta MRT plans by Frumple at November 2022, he called for the realignment of several lines in the southwest Zeta area. In addition to this, the plan included a new line, called Knight Line in the plan to take over a portion of Desert Line so that the Desert Line could be realigned to travel further south from D44.
During the construction of Project Midway Phase 2a, tracks for Oasis Line was built alongisde with Mesa Line between M64 and M67 stations.
On January 24, 2023, AlphaDS and Missa_Solemnis proposed the line, which went from ZS55/I55 in southern Zeta to west Zeta near Lake 44. However, it was rejected on January 28, 2023, due to concerns over the scale of the project and naming disputes.
Following the conclusion of February 2023 GSM which established shortlists for names for the remaining 7 line letters, the first section between ZS55/I55 in southern Zeta and D44 was re-proposed on February 18, 2023, and a new name, Oasis, was picked. It was approved on February 24, 2023 and completed on April 29, 2023.
Phase 2 of Oasis Line, which took over the Desert Line section between Totem Beach and Wenyanga was proposed in April 28, 2023, before Phase 1 was completed. It was approved in April 29, 2023, about 40 hours later. The stations along the Desert Line section was rebuilt in style of Missa_Solemnis's other MRT extensions and was completed around 9 hours later.
Phases 1 and 2 of Oasis Line opened in May 5, 2023 when the claiming form for Phase 1 of Oasis Line closed.
Phase 3 of Oasis Line extended the line to meet with Union Line, reusing the segment built along Mesa Line initially built in Project Midway Phase 2a. It was proposed in May 3, 2023 and approved in May 11, 2023.
On July 22, 2023, the station claim form for the 3rd phase of Oasis Line opened, which marked the completion of the Western section. The line fully opened to public on July 29, 2023.

The Oasis Line travels from the MRT Island Line and MRT Zephyr Line junction to D44 station, and then along the current MRT Desert Line to D69, taking over those stations and tracks. It then turns north to meet the five stations constructed as part of Project Midway along the MRT Mesa Line and extends farther west to meet the MRT Union Line. The current travel duration for the line's entire length is approximately 104 minutes.
The entire line is built in Missa_Solemnis's style, including the segment inherited from MRT Desert Line. In this style, the line has wide quartz viaducts with a bowl-shaped bottom and lapis block line running along the center with sea lanterns along the way, and spacious quartz tunnels with a dome-shaped top, with lapis block lines and sea lanterns running along all four sides. The only section that deviates from this style is the U158/OW59 station, which is built in SimonScholar's style.
Phase 1
The line begins at Birdsview, at O0 station. In this station, you can transfer to MRT Island Line and MRT Zephyr Line. West of O0 station, the line then ascends above ground and follows a roughly north-western trajectory, passing through forest and plains biomes. Between O0 and OW3 stations, it is paralleled by L6 Line, which were built alongside with Oasis Line Phase 1.
From OW3, the line passes through Rivermouth and Karmanto, then goes through a mountain biome. After departing from OW10 station, the line then turns to the north, skirting the edge of the mountain biome. Before arriving at OW12 station, the line shifts a bit, following the terrain and there is an elaborately terraformed cave the line follows. After visting New Genisys, located at OW14 station, it goes underground.
The line then passes through Loydon before arriving at Newbourne, where a transfer to MRT Southern Line is available. Then, the line takes a northwestern trajectory, passing through Paralia, then going under a canal connecting Estival Sea and Lake 12. After crossing the canal, the line ends up in a desert biome, making another 3 stops before arriving at Totem Beach, which is an interchange for MRT Desert Line.
Phase 2
The route of Oasis Phase 2 passes over the former route of Desert Extensions 2 and 3, from D44 to D69. The first extension, from D44 to D60 was built by sesese9, and when this section was transferred to Oasis Line, the tunnels and stations were rebuilt, to ensure it is "more consistent in design" according to AlphaDS during construction of Oasis Phase 2.
From OW23, the line goes directly west, going through desert and savannah biomes. In Cactusburg, there is an interchange with MRT Savannah Line at OW32. After passing through the interchange with Savannah Line, the line then enters a shattered savannah biome and turns to southwest, going through Gray Cloud.
At OW39 station, which marks where Desert Extension 2 ended and Desert Extension 3 started, the line immediately turns to the west, crossing Gray Cloud Lake while following the surface, and passing through the old D61 station located in StevenTown, where the line enters the tundra biome.
In the tundra biome, the line goes above ground, passing through Hazenne and crossing the A68, paralleling B682, before going underground again to cross Lake Gunto. While crossing Lake Gunto, it visits New Singapore and St. Helena, before arriving at Wenyanga, where it briefly surfaces. The OW48 station in Wenyanga is an interchange with MRT Mesa Line, with a long passageway connecting the Oasis Line and Mesa Line stations together.
Phase 3
After departing from OW48 station, the line goes underground, crossing above MRT Mesa Line, and where the concurrency with MRT Mesa Line begins. The concurrency between MRT Oasis Line and MRT Mesa Line is one of the six MRT line sections where one line counts up while the other line counts down, with the MRT Circle Line counting up and the MRT Island Line counting down. The other MRT sections that has this feature is the MRT Circle Line and MRT Island Line between Elecna Bay and C57/I14 station in Sweet Sand Dunes, MRT Lakeshore Line and MRT Zephyr Line section between LW4/ZN35 and Oparia, MRT Union Line and Line L2 section from U186/L2X11 to U196/L2X1 stations, MRT Rose Line and MRT Lakeshore Line between Halifax and New Mayton City, and MRT Union Line and MRT Rose Line section between Mountbatten and RE20/U30 stations.
In the concurrency, the lines passes through a savannah and a desert biome. North of OW51/M66 station, the lines shift slightly to avoid a hill in the savannah biome. At OW53/M64 station in Slime City, the lines split, with MRT Oasis Line heading northwest to MRT Union Line and MRT Mesa Line heading northeast to Dewford City.
After the lines split, the line passes through a desert biome, then crosses a mountain biome where OW57 station sits on before arriving at a tundra biome, passing through OW58 station. The line then terminates at OW59 station, where a transfer to MRT Union Line is available.
