A road network, commonly known as and consisting of sub-networks such as the InterMap Highway System, is a network of controlled-access highways that encompass both the Old World and the New World. Construction of the first InterMaps began shortly after Frumple first commissioned roads around Spawn City on 26 January 2013.

Old World

The InterMap Highway System got underway with the planning and building of roads in the Spawn City area. Frumple began commissioning construction for roads in the city limits and surrounding areas, which, after a few months, morphed into the Northern Highway. Once established, the Northern Highway fed into the newly-created I-0, the first major InterMap stretching initially from Gund Valley to the MRT International Airport, but soon relocated from Parkour into Ryzon (now known as Fairfax).

The establishment of I-0, even today the longest InterMap, lead to the "InterMap Craze", wherein a variety of players rushed to build Intermaps to connect to their cities.

There are now 15 InterMaps located across the Old World.

New World

The establishment of road-building limitations due to ranks caused the somewhat slower start as to the construction of major highways. The first major road project undertaken was the Whitechapel Freeway or A-xx extending from Central City to Whitechapel, from the interchange west of Central City via Watchfield to Whitechapel Sky Harbor and Whitechapel, where it currently terminates. Major extensions are in the planning stages, with projected extensions as West Calbar to T21 station (West Calbar Freeway Extension).
