The MRT Southern Line is one of the 18 lines of the New World MRT System and one of the 4 additional New World MRT lines.
The MRT Southern Line runs from S0 to SE26. It starts in a plains biome at S0, with only a 5-minute walk/swim to the old southern Epsilon world border. It then goes through a small extreme hills biome, going inside the mountains for a short ways until SE1. The line then goes aboveground to SE2, where it begins a descent underground. The line then crosses the ocean, while staying underground, and then reaches SE3. It then continues east, passing the MRT Valley Line and MRT Island Line termini along the route, as well as the city of Aeolia. The line doesn't curve much until just after SE13, where it curves north and finally comes back aboveground at SE14. This aboveground period doesn't last for long, as it then goes back underground to cross the ocean again. It then passes the city of Murrville, where it comes aboveground a short time later. The line then starts curving to the south, then curving back to the east. It does this until the line goes just past SE20, where it goes straight west for the rest of the journey. It ends it's long course at SE26, after passing the savannah biome.
The original Southern Line was planned to run closer to the southern border of the pre-expansion Gamma, but due to a lack of progress before the world expansion it was then relocated to its current location along the southern border of post-expansion Epsilon. Some Southern Line stations and track sections from the old alignment can be found at and around ZS22 , ZS23 , and C51 - I20 .
