MS Lake Sapphire is a Pearl-class ship, originally built for and operated by Nansei Cruise Lines and is currently owned by the City of Cypress. She is the larger sister ship to Lake Pearl.
History
Lake Sapphire and her larger sister Lake Topaz were ordered on April 23, 2021. NCL made it clear that she would begin construction after Lake Pearl had entered service, and that she would be at least 90m long. True to their word, Sapphire's keel was laid on April 25 in a singleplayer world (her port of registry is still Wenyanga), a hour after Pearl had left on her initial cruise with paying passengers from New Singapore, and she was 94m long, 12m longer than Pearl.
Sapphire, being a lengthened Pearl, had its exterior quickly completed the same day. She was pasted in an empty dock in Wenyanga, so that work could continue on her interior. Her interior was finished on April 30. After a lengthy stay to finish her interior, she was christened in Wenyanga on June 1 and set sail for the Itavanga islands on June 3, 2021
She and her sister Lake Pearl were sold to Acadia Cruises on November 29th, 2021
On May 30th, 2022, Lake Sapphire was sold to the State of Cypress under the company CypressLink
On July 6th, 2023, Lake Sapphire changed routes from the Itavanga Islands to go between Port Diamondback and Southfort.
Ports of call
Lake Sapphire sails as an ocean liner from Rattlerville to Southfort. She was previously routed to serve Itavanga but was changed after being given to the State of Cypress under CypressLink. This is the first commercial ferry to ever serve Southfort.

Facilities
Like her sister Lake Pearl, Deck 1 of Lake Sapphire contains the Mall-at-Sea, a mall filled with other player-made brands. She has the same brands as her sister, plus two new brands.

Deck 5 is only accessible via stairs from Deck 4. It contains all of Lake Pearl's features plus a new jacuzzi, and the famous Top Deck, an NCL-owned luxury buffet featured on the top deck of all their ships.
