MetroFairfax (abbreviated as MFX or MF informally) is a Pacifica Transit company that provides extensive transit services to the city of Fairfax and its neighboring cities such as Atlanta, Frost City, Galaxyville, Greenway, Hillville, Minetown and Snowy. Originally the Ryzon City Metro, Metro Fairfax was built in phases completely replacing the old metro to provide a full, user-friendly services with an emphasis on aesthetics and transit accessibility to the entire town.

At this point, six major lines, serving the towns of Fairfax, Atlanta, Frost City, Greenway, Galaxyville, Hillville, Snowy, Riverside, and Big Lake is now open. The metro was originally designed strictly as a hub-and-spoke system, with Fairfax Northern Cross as the center of the Metro System. However, recent planning with Fairfax's neighboring cities to the north has turned Metro Fairfax as a major metro provider to those cities as well, and the Flint and Atlanta Lines will subsequently be the first MetroFairfax lines not to serve Fairfax directly, but will have intersecting services with other spoke lines to serve Fairfax.

All stations listed for the Fairfax, Mason, Flint, and Atlanta Lines are either listed from the South to North, or from the West to the East depending on their orientation. All other lines that shares Fairfax Northern Cross as its main terminus will have Northern Cross station listed as the first station in the line instead.

Important Notice: The stations, in most cases, do not share lines EXCEPT at the following stations:

  • Fairfax Northern Cross (Main Hub)
  • Fulton Station (Atlanta) (Shared station serving the Fairfax Line, Flint Line, and Atlanta Line)
  • Buckhead Station (Atlanta) (Shared station serving the Spruce Line and Atlanta Line)
  • Georgetown (Atlanta) (Shared station serving the Flint Line and Atlanta Line)
  • Lake Street Station (Minetown) (Shared station serving the Miners Line and Flint Line)
  • Minetown Transit Hub (Shared station serving the Miners Line and Flint Line)

In many cases, the stations will have the exact same names but is not the same station physically. For example, The Fairfax Line's Gallaudet Station is NOT the same as the Mason Line's Gallaudet Station. The majority of stations are named for the cross-street the station is built at, and both lines crosses Gallaudet Avenue at different locations.

OLYMPIC LINE (Formerly DESERT LINE)

Olympic Line, when it was known as the Desert Line, was also originally the system's shortest line, extending from Fairfax Northern Cross to Galaxyville. The Western Extension of Olympic Line will bring MetroFairfax Service to encourage the construction of several new cities along the southwest fringes of Fairfax Metropolitan Area, connect Fairfax to the Alturas Olympic Stadium, and set up an connection between MetroFairfax and BART at the Olympic Park Transit Hub.

SPRUCE LINE

From the Northern Cross, this line serves the Northwest sector of Fairfax, crossing the Fairfax Line underground at Interstate 0 Station, and then continuing into the median of Marrietta Road / (IN-3) through the towns of Atlanta and Snowy. After Snowy, it takes a curve southward to Riverside to serve North and South Riverside Stations. After South Riverside, it curves westward to terminate at Big Lake

The Riverside Extension Project was a project aimed at adding the Cities of Riverside and Big Lake to the MetroFairfax network. It was constructed in conjunction with the Flint South Extension Project, and will contain unique architecture for the Riverside Stations due to its shallowness and soil conditions throughout the city. Spruce Line then turns west to serve the town of Big Lake with a single station, with 2 in-fill stations planned at Oak Street and west of I-200 when demand warrants for those stations. West Big Lake/I-200 Station will be the final station of the Spruce Line, and no further extensions will be made to Spruce Line. max4344 and lalaboy67 was instrumental in helping finish the line in rapid fashion.

FLINT LINE

A line entirely serving the northern fringe neighboring towns of Fairfax without entering Fairfax City Limits, the Flint Line serves the towns of Snowy, Atlanta, Minetown and Frost City. This line will also have the potential to be incorporated into a ring line around Fairfax in the distant future if the land surrounding Fairfax develops more towns. The Flint Line provides connections to the Mason Line, Fairfax Line, Miners Line, and Spruce Lines at various interchange stations.

The current Flint South Extension Project aims to continue the plan of ringing Fairfax and serving its metropolitan area neighbors. At this time, it is scheduled to extend Flint Line south from Snowy through Riverside to serve the town of Alturas and the Olympic Stadium, then it should have a stub heading east for the future continuation of the Ring Project. dddd NOTE:: Flint Line Trains will bypass several closed stations along the line. These stations has been built because there are planned growth in the area, and when the growth meets the demand, we will open those stations. Also note that the station codes has changed due to the Flint South Extension Project
