If you would like to financially support the Minecart Rapid Transit server to defray costs of server operations, you are now able to, thanks to our Buycraft portal. However, there are some rules and policies you must abide to while doing so. Please read through the following information carefully before contributing. The link to our Buycraft portal is at the bottom of this page. Please only click it when you have finished carefully reading this document.
Minimum purchase amount is $10.00 CAD, and we accept other currencies. Supporter benefits are granted on a permanent basis to your Minecraft account with no need for renewal.
International players (outside of Canada), please note that $10 CAD is not the same as $10 USD, and currency exchange values change continuously. Please use a currency converter such as Wolfram|Alpha to change between your home currency (commonly US Dollar-USD, British Pound-GBP, Australian Dollar-AUD, or Euro-EUR)
By confirming your payment to purchase supporter benefits from the Minecart Rapid Transit (MRT) Server (http://www.minecartrapidtransit.net), you hereby agree to the following:
- Your supporter benefits do NOT grant you immunity from the server rules.You must still follow all rules and follow all instructions from staff while playing on the server.
- Your supporter benefits CANNOT be used to gain membership, clear warnings issued to you, or get yourself unbanned from the server. Guests or banned players who attempt to make a payment will be refunded and banned from using the MRT Buycraft payment portal.
- Your supporter benefits CANNOT be used to gain favours from staff or to increase the likelihood that you will be promoted to a higher rank, such as Mayor, Trusted, or Mod. The administrators will consider all players for promotion equally regardless of whether they have supporter benefits or not.
- You will NOT abuse or misuse the supporter benefits granted to you. This includes, but is not exhaustive to: Excessively spamming the chat with colours or the /me command, or disrespecting other players on the server because they do not have supporter benefits. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in your supporter benefits being revoked, and/or a warning or ban issued to you.
- You will NOT perform a chargeback on your payment. Players who perform a chargeback will be immediately banned from all network services (Minecraft, Minecraft beta, Mumble, Wiki) with no chance of appeal.
You will need to provide your real name, billing address, e-mail, and Minecraft username before completing your purchase. We will take every precaution to ensure that your personal information is kept secure and confidential. We use Google Wallet for payments, so we will never see your credit card information.
By default, your Minecraft username and your contribution amount will be published in the MRT Finances spreadsheet. If you do not wish your username to be published, please send an e-mail to frumple [at] minecartrapidtransit.net immediately after your purchase.
Once you have completed your purchase, please allow for up to 7 days before your benefits are enabled for your Minecraft account on the server. We will notify you by e-mail when your benefits have been applied.
Please ignore all messages from Buycraft stating that your benefits will be enabled in 15-30 minutes. Due to limitations both on Buycraft’s system and our server, please wait until you are notified by e-mail, which may take up to 7 days.
You can contribute here: http://minecartrapidtransit.buycraft.net. There is no sign-up required; just enter your Minecraft name and enter how much you would like to contribute.
