Nansei-Gunto Broadcasting Association
The Nansei-Gunto Broadcasting Association was a public broadcasting association in the Region of Nansei-Gunto. It was made up of municipal broadcasters and state-owned telecommunications corporation TeleNansei. It was established on January 6, 2021, as a replacement for TeleNansei Media, which previously controlled broadcasting in the region NBA's initial members are the Shenghua Broadcasting Corporation and TeleNansei. Member broadcasters jointly provided programming for regionwide television station for Channel 6. TeleNansei-produced or acquired programming was seen first on Channel 6 and was allowed to be reran on municipal stations at least a week after the premiere date. The same system was in place for programming produced or acquired by municipal stations, where they can be seen first on their respective station, and were allowed to be reran by Channel 6 and other stations at least a week after the premiere date. The NBA also operated an overseas bureau in Westbeach, where timeshifted versions of its channels were broadcast (with some programs substituted due to licensing issues). The Shenghua Broadcasting Corporation also independently operated a bureau in the Epsilonian capital Name Pending.
It was dissolved on March 24, 2022, due to the dissolution of Nansei-Gunto. Some broadcasters were transferred to SBC International.
