Nashville is a town located in the northeastern part of the New World in Ward 2. The town was founded by Minecraft252 on April 3, 2022, and is an entry in the New World 2022 town building contest also known as SimonScholar's Town Building Contest. Nashville ultimately finished in second-place in the contest losing out to Chattanooga. The town mayor is Minecraft252 while the town deputy mayor is kingsnake. Nashville is best known for being a rare underwater town for New World as the town contains a coral reef setting but has come to be known for having achieved councillor-ranking status in just two days time as the town became councillor on April 5, 2022. The town would go on to attain mayor-ranking status on April 14, 2022, only 11 days after founding. Nashville itself is mainly underwater though some of the town actually is not underwater. In fact, Nashville has areas underwater, underground, and above the water. Nashville is served by the MRT Union Line.
Senator Bid History
On May 3, 2022, Nashville made its first and thus far only senator bid on the 1-month anniversary of the town existing. On May 16, 2022, Nashville was rejected for promotion to senator in a vote of 0-5.

Both Bristol International University Nashville Campus and Nashville Community College serve as higher education facilities within Nashville while Nashville Private School, Hume-Fogg Magnet School (a public school), Nashville Primary Public School, South Nashville Primary Public School, and Nashville Secondary Public School prepare students for college.
Recreation
As of April 20, 2022, Nashville has one recreational sports offering in a tennis court called Nashville Tennis Court. Nashville Tennis Court is not located underwater (located above the water).
Nashville Falls Tourist Attraction
Nashville Falls was discovered within Nashville on July 10, 2022, which is the same date it became a tourist attraction. It is located on the westside of town.
Nashville Helipads
Nashville offers two helipads as of April 14, 2022: one for AC Heli and one for KaloroAir. The first helipad was installed on April 13, 2022 (for FlyPrismatic but later converted to AC Heli), while the second helipad was installed on April 14, 2022 (for KaloroAir). Via KaloroAir, you can go from Nashville to Larkspur Lilyflower International Airport located within Larkspur. Via AC Heli, you can go from Nashville to many destinations including Port Diamondback, which is located near Rattlerville and will eventually be annexed into Rattlerville, Sky Atlantis, Parkland, Chattanooga, and Avondale.
Public Transportation
Nashville does offer public transportation in the form of WeGo Public Transportation. The system was chartered on April 9, 2022, and as of May 18, 2022, currently features 10 train stops on two rail lines that all runs underground. One line currently runs east from the westside of Nashville all the way to Nashville Boat Tours on the eastside of Nashville while the other line currently runs south from the downtown area of Nashville into South Nashville all the way down to Nashville Copper Mine. There are plans to expand the system to serve more of Nashville in the future. WeGo Public Transportation Headquarters opened within the downtown area of Nashville on April 16, 2022, in the top portion of the same building that contains H.G. Hill Food Stores Urban Market.
Walking Paths
There are no roads located within Nashville due to the town being located underwater (well mostly, lol) however walking paths do exist for folks to travel throughout a fair amount of Nashville. The walking paths are made out of tube coral block and while initially were just underwater only but now exist both underwater and above the water within Nashville. Ladders can be utilized to connect between the walking paths underwater to the walking paths above the water. There is one special walking path above the water in southwestern Nashville called Natchez Trace Parkway which is filled with several lilles of the valley along the walking path.
Opry Mills Mall
Opry Mills Mall was constructed within Nashville on May 18, 2022, and is a two-floor mall featuring several things including two music stages, Tennessee Indoor Desert, and a location of Bristol Brew Coffee Company among other businesses. The irl Opry Mills is only one actual floor though the New World version is two floors so as to not take up too much space overall.
Rivergate Mall
Rivergate Mall was constructed within Nashville on July 10, 2022, and features two buildings. The mall features several stores, restaurants, and services though the north building only features just one restaurant. The mall itself is located within northeastern Nashville.
Music City
Like irl Nashville, Tennessee, the New World version of Nashville has lots of places for music performances. There are 11 places within Nashville which currently offer music performances with The Grand Ole Opry being the most famous one of them all.
Miscellaneous
Nashville in New World is definitely named after Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and not after any of the other Nashvilles of the world. Nashville Community Pool (built by Spegit007 on April 3, 2022) is the most famous Nashville location not housed within a building. Nashville Through The Looking Glass was constructed over Nashville from April 4 to 8, 2022, and offers a glass view of underwater Nashville from above. Modifications have taken place since then to reduce the glass over Nashville though glass over the town won't ever completely go away. The idea for the looking glass itself came from kingsnake. Nashville Fish Tank was installed above the water on April 13, 2022, and was made by both Minecraft252 and pretzel33. The fish tank was first made larger on April 14, 2022, and second made larger on May 17, 2022. The Nashville Zoo was chartered within Nashville on April 14, 2022, and like the irl version, the New World version is located on the southside of Nashville. The Nashville Zoo is located above the water thus offers pigs, cows, sheep, horses, a panda bear, and a polar bear as of May 18, 2022. Percy Priest Lake was made above the water within Nashville on April 15, 2022. Percy Priest Lake includes Percy Priest Lake High Dive. The Cumberland River was made underwater within Nashville on April 14, 2022. Nashville Copper Mine was opened up within the underground area of Nashville on April 18, 2022, and is a mine for mining copper ore. Sky High 5 Nashville attraction was built from underwater to reach a height above the water on May 17, 2022. The attraction is named this due to it going five blocks above water in 16 spots and also due to Nashville having a channel 5 in both irl and New World. Nashville offers one park underwater called Beaman Park which features Beaman Park Axolotl Display. Nashville offers one hill known as Knob Hill. It is located underwater near The Bluebird Cafe on the server though irl Knob Hill is located pretty far away from irl The Bluebird Cafe. Azalea Tall (not underwater) and Azalea Tall Underwater (underwater) both exist within Nashville as of April 20, 2022.

There are no towns or cities located near Nashville at this time with Encinitas being the closest city or town to Nashville though still located pretty far southwest of Nashville. It should be noted there is a mooshroom island biome located near Nashville northwest of town that prohibits any town/building development there.

Nashville Lore
Long ago before Nashville on New World was ever created, seven mermaids traveled out to sea from Encinitas though the mermaids were technical residents of Los Angeles at the time. They planned to found a new settlement because they had grown tired of Los Angeles as they longed for living in the water somewhere up north. They decided to make a settlement amongst coral reefs not far below a mooshroom island biome in northeastern New World and thus modern Nashville was born. The mermaids did eventually die due to some goats deciding they weren't particularly keen on mermaids living near them anymore, but the legacy of the seven mermaids lives on amongst the Nashvillians of today. Nashville might lack an IKEA and won't ever be getting one, honestly, but the town has plenty of other things to offer.

Nashville has been designated as U35 MRT Train Station for the Union Line of MRT train services. This train station is located underwater, yep.
