New Origin City is a city at 15143, -24362. The city Mayor is OriginRailway. This city was established at 17/7/2021, and is a city in the association of MNA.

This city is some of the rare cities that lies between 2 wards, and for this one, between Ward 1 and 2.

History

Fleeing to the Ofuna Area

In 200 BCE, Celina suffered from a Volcanic Eruption at Mount Nam Ling, and many people fled to other areas of the current NMA areas, and even reached to Central City. There's a lot of help from everywhere of the MRT World, and made Celina great again only 100 years after. But in the same time, some of the former Celina citizens fled north to Origin City, and settled at the current Ofuna Area. As this harbor city grows, the city reached the peak of prosperity at around 400 CE.

2nd Volcanic Eruption of Nam Ling

In 557 CE, Mount Nam Ling Erupted again, closer to Origin City this time. The city got wiped out in 2 hours, as the terrain is flat and benefited the lava flowing to Origin City and Ofuna area. Many citizens in Origin City fled back to Celina, Malosa, Oparia or northern areas, like Milicent or Ofuna Beach. The population dropped from 22500 at 550 CE, to only 1000 at 560 CE.

Modernization of Origin City

As the volcanic activity of Mount Nam Ling turns dead in the progress of the next 1000 years, the Origin City becomes a safe place, thus making Origin City became a improbable in attacking.

As NMA conquered Origin City at 1833, they found that good conditions of Origin city can make a defense line along the NMA border at that time. So as soon as they conquered Origin City, they made Origin City as an entrepot at 1834.

Under the rule of the NMA (1833-)

19th Century

Origin City has been one of the top cities in MRT world since the mid-19th century. Many new areas was developed during this Golden Era, such as Mount Ofen and the current Western and Eastern District. The city also developed estate-based area based of the population of estates scattering over the cities at 1884, and chosen Minsheng and Yaosheng as the first two estate-based district.

World Wars (1916-1945)

As the World Wars came to MRT World, NMA was in at disadvantage in the pinch attack from Oparia and Secunda, and retreated to the northeastern tip of the world. Fortunately, the NMA won the battle of Ofuna, and gained back many lost land, and even annexed Oparia.

NMA also did well at second World War, expanding the territory further south, such as East Mesa and the Mushroom Islands, though they can't annex Secunda also at last.

Late 20th Century, The 3rd Eruption, and the rebuild of the city (1947-)

Origin City's economy has been rapidly growing in the next few decades, and reached another Prosperity at 1994, with a population peaking at 750,000. Then, Mount Nam Ling erupted again for the first time in a thousand years at 1996, ruining the Origin City and caused 150,000 deaths. Riots grown everywhere, and the GDP of Origin City Dropped for over 94% at 1997, marking the largest drop in the history anywhere in the MRT World, causing Origin City rank-dropped from [Senator] to  [Member]  at 1999's GSM.

The Origin City then became a popular tourist spot, as it's special history inspired many people. The government also started proposing the Rebuild of Origin City, and started the project at 2008. In 2014, the first building finally finished and opened, marked the rebirth of Origin City. In the next few years, the city grew steadliy, but the Coronavirus in 2020 impacted the pace of rebuilding again. The city is promoted to [Citizen] in 17 august 2021.

Eastern Area

The Eastern Area is the area of the Ofuna River, East from the Citizen's Boulevard, which marks the division of Eastern and Western Area. The Eastern is one of the two earliest developed area in Origin City. It has 400 inhabitants and is mainly Residence area.

Western Area

The Western Area is mainly commercial area. It also includes the future Origin City Station and the Transit Hub. This is also one of the two earliest developed area of Origin City. It has 143 inhabitants, 300 jobs and mostly Commercial and Government buildings.

Mount Ofen

Mount Ofen Area is on the west of Western Area, including the mountain area on the west of the city.

This is an undeveloped area but is planned to build a mountain township here.

This is one of the Ward 1 areas in Origin City.

Minsheng

Minsheng Area is the place where the Minsheng Estate will be on in the future. This Area will be developed into a massive residential community, and will be one of the 4 estates planned on Origin City.

Yaosheng

Yaosheng Area will be the place of the future Yaosheng Estate, which will also be one of the 4 estates planned on Origin City. It's on the east of the Minsheng area, but close to Ofuna Beach and Ofuna City.

Ofuna Beach

Ofuna Beach is a planned vacation place and will be built in style of nearby Celina. It's one of the Northernmost area in Origin City, facing to the beach on the northern side of the City.

Ofuna City

Ofuna City will be the more developed area of the Ofuna district, comparing to Ofuna beach. It will be built in type of Satellite city.

Part of the Ofuna City will be in Ward 1.

Milicent

Milicent will be a satellite town of the Origin City on the easternmost side of the City. It consists the coastline east of the Ofuna Beach, and another plain biome east to the city, bound to Celina.

Trivia

This city is used to set 2000 blocks west to the current position and is in Ward 1, but a typo on discord made the error and moved the city to it's current position, and thus changing the ward from 1 to 2.
