Pacifica Transit Authority (PTA) -- also known as Pacifica Metro -- is a Transit Company and construction contractor led by _frozen. PTA has a focus on providing service to the Eastern section of the MRT Server. PTA's headquarters is located at Ravenswood Central Station in the city of Ravenswood. The closest MRT station to the Headquarters would be either  R13  Audenville Station of the MRT Red Line, or  B22  Shadow Rock of the MRT Blue Line.

For a comphrensive listing of all operating lines maintained by Pacifica Transit, see List of Pacifica Transit stations.

Transit Hubs

Pacifica Transit either owns or operates several transit hubs on the MRT server. The trademark of Pacifica Transit Hubs are modern, sleek, and serves multiple lines and technology without fail. They are the following:

Ravenswood Central Station

PTA owns the Ravenswood Central Station (known as Ravenswood Central) located across the street from the Ravenswood City Hall. The first floor features a massive passenger entrance, with the remaining space oriented for the needs of commuters, with a Kansas Flambe Chicken store located on Southbound Grand Avenue side, and a Barber & Noble Book Kiosk on the Northbound Grand avenue side of the station. There are currently two retail spaces still up for lease for interested franchises to occupy on both sides. PTA's offices occupies the top 3 floors, with Administration on the top floor. In the basement, there are two concourses: Concourse A, which serves PTA lines and the bus transit hub; and Concourse B, which serves other transit agencies' lines.

Currently, only  ARR  Arrowhead Line and  MLA  MegaLine A, with Ravenswood Central as its eastern terminus, is now in service at Ravenswood Central.

Fairfax Northern Cross

For more in-depth information, please refer to Fairfax Northern Cross.

After Ravenswood acquired the city of Ryzon, Ravenswood brought Pacifica Transit in to operate the Ryzon City Metro in the interim. When the Fairfax City Government officially took the reins of now the re-named Ryzon, they decided to sell the Ryzon City Metro in its entirety to Pacifica Transit. This in turn made PTA the main transit provider of Fairfax. The City Government then contracted Pacifica Transit Construction to undergo a massive renovation of the old Ryzon Transit Hub into the new Fairfax Northern Cross.

Done in the modern style, Fairfax Northern Cross is a major transit hub with the goals of serving the entire Northeast. It will have several floors, from the MRT floor serving the  G5  Fairfax station of the Green Line down to the MetroFairfax Concourse and the Commuter Arcade; and a bus transit hub. PTC (and _frozen) would like to take this time to thank Yeamanator132 for his help in the construction of Fairfax Northern Cross-- without his help the construction probably would take forever.

Buses

Pacifica Transit does not construct nor operate any bus lines. All bus lines serving normal Pacifica Transit hubs has been served impeccably by IntraBus. We recommend them for your busing needs.

Rail Transit

PTA provides two types of rail transit service: "Commuter" lines and "Metro" lines. Commuter lines (such as the Arrowhead Line) serves few destinations set far apart. Metro service are of the more frequent variety, akin to subway and light rail lines.

Commuter Lines

At this point, there are one operational and two planned lines serving mainly the Eastern Section from the PTA hub at Ravenswood Central. The Arrowhead Line is a west-east line, with the goal of serving all under-served cities between the Spawn City Transit Centre, Inchmuir, and Ravenswood. Arrowhead Line opened fully on December 7, 2013. The Archer Line will be a peripheral local-express line serving Prubourne , Hardesty, Audenville, Ravenswood, and an undetermined station on the blue line. The exact alignment (and even the stations and terminus) of the Archer Line are still in the planning stages. Archer Line's inital operating segment has been announced as a local-only service between Audenville and MegaTown. The Javelin Line will be a line that shares the same eastern stations as the Arrowhead using Pacifica Transit's Milan-style stations between Ravenswood and Wishington, and the western section of the Javelin Line will serve the southern central part of the MRT region with the line angling towards the MRT Regional Airport. Also, future Lines will also call Ravenswood home in the near future.

Arrowhead Line

The Arrowhead Line is a half Cyan Systems, half Pacifica Transit built commuter line serving as the main route between Spawn City and Ravenswood. Stations are located to encourage new cities in the land between Blue and Red Lines, with major transfer point located at Inchmuir with the MRT Blue Line and the Inchmuir Subway Network. Arrowhead Line at the SCTC complex is located on the Iron Level, on Platform E/F. At Inchmuir Central Station, Arrowhead Line is located on the Red Section of the Underground Concourses. Arrowhead Line is complete.

For more information, please go to the page located at Arrowhead Line.

Archer Line

The Archer Line will be a local-express commuter line serving the Eastern sector of the MRT region. The planning stages are currently in the planning/town selection phase. It will help boost under-utilized lands and towns of the Eastern Section with its unique local-express systems.

The line will open in 4 phases, starting with the Inital Operating Segment between Cyra and Audenville. Overall, Archer Line will open in four phases, with a completion date of April 2014 for the entire line.

For more information, please do visit Archer Line.

Javelin Line

The Javelin Line will be a commuter line unlike others on this server. It is partially open in sections concurrent with the Arrowhead Line. Plans forecasts that in mid-summer 2014 Javelin Line will be open from Ravenswood to the South Central Section of the MRT Server. It utilizes the local-express concept of the Pacifica Transit's Milan Models to be able to run concurrently with the Arrowhead Line from Wishington to Ravenswood.

A detailed list of destinations will be announced after finalizing the list for the Archer Line.

Metro Lines

Pacifica Transit currently operates a major metro system centered in the city of Fairfax. With 3 lines currently open and 2 lines in various state of construction, MetroFairfax aims to be the server's largest metro system. Pacifica Transit also used to operate the old Ryzon City Metro before its phase-out into the new Metro Fairfax system.

MetroFairfax

MetroFairfax, a major Northeastern Metro-styled service, has 5 lines total at this time of printing, mainly serving the city of Fairfax but also the towns of Atlanta, Frost City, Greenway, Galaxyville, Hillville, Minetown, and Snowy. For more information, please do check out MetroFairfax.

Ryzon City Metro

With the auction award of Ryzon to Ravenswood's Mayor, _frozen, Ryzon City Metro was subsequently bought up by Pacifica Transit. Using outdated technology and suffering from lack of standards, RCM had three lines, numbering from 1 to 3. Pacifica Transit worked with the Ryzon City Council before its dissolution to renovate the entire metro system to bring it up to standards that is expected of lines running under Pacifica Transit. When the surveying were completed, it was discovered that renovations were not possible. As a result, when phases of MetroFairfax was completed, Ryzon City Metro slowly closed down and transitioned into Metro Fairfax.

Pacifica Transit Construction

After utilizing the Cyan Systems brand for the Arrowhead Line, Pacifica Metro is also going into the business of construction with its own brands for the upcoming Archer Line. Pacifica Transit Construction is the company tasked with the conceptualization, design, and building this system including a novel cart launcher that has not been mass-produced on this server until the Pacifica Series.

A showroom is currently being constructed in Northwest Ravenswood, with an projected opening date of November 30. Ravenswood Central will also double as our showroom where we will showcase the latest Pacifica technology in use.

At this time, Pacfica Transit Construction is only limited to developing in-house metro and interurban systems. If you desire a metro system, you will need to find another company to meet your wishes at this time. Our stations however are available for your use in your metro system- but we will not provide support for unofficial uses of our stations.

Transit Hub Design and Construction

PTC's foremost goals in designing transit hubs has two points: One, to provide the fullest service possible at a single location; and Two, to provide compatiablity with other technologies necessary. This allows our transit hubs to be able to compromise with differing standards and technology provided by other companies' stations.

Pacifica Series

The Pacifica Series is the first default station concept that the PTC will be constructing. Focused on more of the aesthetic rather than compactness, the Pacifica Series provides the riders with the capability of having a smooth, flat ride without any drop mechanic involved. As of this time, we are offering 2 standard island-platform models with variations available for each of the standard models. The exterior is built in netherrack to discourage accidental mining into the station box. All stations has the exact same interior dimensions, with minimal difference in exterior dimensions to accommodate wiring and switches. All comes with 4 Empty Cart Detectors -- two to detect outgoing empty carts, and two to detect incoming empty carts. All station boxes are measured at 8 tiles tall. The Pacifica Series will also be the first mass-produced system on the server with the option to include an local and express line on the same line. Our intention was to provide a local-express option for your line, but the Milan Model can also be used as a single station for two separate metro lines.

Venice Model

The Venice Model, named after the famed city in Italy, is the default single line station provided by PTC. Dimensions are 8 tiles tall, 34 tiles long, and 15 tiles wide. The three variations of the Venice is: pass-through; terminus; and express line bypasses. The pass-through is the default design, with two entrances into the center island. You have the option of closing off either entrance without any adverse effect on the station itself. The Terminus variation is perfect for the end of the line-- with an auto-send for the arrival platform to ensure the cart is cleared after arrival. The Express Line Bypass is the normal Pass-through station, but with the added option of the express line added either along the sides or underneath the station to allow express line riders to bypass the local station. Dimensions for the Express Line Bypasses are customizable to best fit your needs.

Milan Model

The Milan Model is the Express/Local Station built by the PTC. Coming in at the size of 8 tiles tall, 43 tiles long, and 19 tiles wide to accommodate the extra machinery necessary to operate a smooth local and express station schematic. The Milan Model is a beefed up version of the Venice model. The 4 tracks at the entrance becomes 2 track in the station part to better serve both lines, then unravel back to 4 lines after the station. Riders will be able to transfer to either line seamlessly, with the focus on identifying their line via colored buttons on the wall. The interior is almost exactly the same as the Venice Model to allow for a uniform look for your line. We provide 2 variations of the Milan Model-- a pass-through, and a terminus station. There will be no bypass stations of this model. Just like Venice, Milan also has two passenger entries, with the option to close off either side without any adverse effect on the station mechanics.

Leeds Model

The Leeds Model is a customized fit for Haven, and made public. This model is built for one-way metro systems in crowded conditions while providing comfort. Using the same launching architecture as the Venice and Milan Models, and there will be no terminus variations to this style. It is designed such that the Leeds Model is part of a circular line. It only has one station entrance.

Upcoming Models

  • Edinburgh Model -- Models focused on the elevated system (monorail, elevated systems, the like)
  • Phoenix Model -- Models focused on light-rail based systems

Tunnels and Adapters

We also provide tunnels and necessary adapters for local-express line mergers. If our schematics does not meet your needs, we will construct the adapter needed to fit your unique needs.

Succession Plans

In the extreme case where _Frozen becomes inactive for a period of 45 continuous days, Pacifica Transit ownership and decision-making will fall to Yeamanator132 for a period of 45 days. if _Frozen does not show up in 90 consecutive days, it falls to Yeamanator132's decision whether to put parts of or the entirety of any Pacifica Transit lines, stations, and property up for auction for any interested bidders.

This clause was added after difficulties with an inactive transit line owner prompted _Frozen to install emergency succession clauses for this company to ensure it continues growing.
