The Montego Department of Trade and Enterprise (Shortened to DoTE) is the department of Montego responsible for the management and production of freight and cargo. After being established in June 2019, the department quickly went to work ensuring that cities in and out of Montego could access freight services, mostly focusing on the transportation of goods.

Management

All projects by the DoTE are managed by the DoTE. The DoTE decides on major points by voting on resolutions and general consensus.

Resolution Log

A log of resolutions related to the DoTE.

• DoTE Resolution 1: The admission of new members to the Department shall be governed by a majority (>50%) of members voting for admission. This Resolution shall not be construed to require a vote for cities opting-in to DoTE programs. (Passed)
• DoTE Resolution 2: Montego Admins can become members of the managing team of the department with no vote since they are trusted already to manage the MPO. Johngi remains the leader of the department. (Denied)
• DoTE Resolution 3: Start a Montego Post Network with post offices available in the Montego Lab for Montego Members to copy and paste into their towns. Also, start a fleet of trucks and alliance with other post offices to deliver mail throughout the MRT. (Passed)

MontegoMail

Montego Mail is a government-owned company responsible for the mail system exclusive to Montego. It has a fleet of aeroplanes, trucks and boxcars (the latter being used in co-operation with MontegoFreight) to deliver mail around Montego.
