Shadowpoint Armed Forces

The Shadowpoint Armed Forces are the armed forces of the Shadowpoint Republic. The SAF is a Department of the Federal Government under the direction of President EliteNeon, the Secretary of Defense, and the leaders of each force. The SAF consists of the Shadowpoint Army, Shadowpoint Navy, and the Shadowpoint Highway Patrol.

Branches

Shadowpoint Army

The Shadowpoint Army is the newest branch of the SAF. The Army was founded with the creation of the Department of Defense. Previously, the Shadowpoint Republic and its predecessor nation, the City-State of Shadowpoint, did not have an army.

Shadowpoint Navy

The Shadowpoint Navy is the oldest branch of the SAF. The Navy was founded to provide official transport links between the cities of what was then the City-State of Shadowpoint. The Shadowpoint Navy's fleet currently consists of two small transport ships. The Navy is currently being expanded to have combat capability.

Shadowpoint Highway Patrol

The Shadowpoint Highway Patrol, while in practice a civilian agency, is under the purview of the SAF and the DOD. The SHP patrols the highways and major streets of both the Shadowpoint Republic and the server at-large. The SHP also provides security for the President of Shadowpoint, and at the November 2020 GSM provided security for Head-Admin chiefbozx.

Military or Political Alliances

Metropolitan North Association

The SAF are an affiliate non-member of the Metropolitan North Association through the member city of New Mackinaw.

Anti Warsaw Pact Pact

The SAF are still a member of the dormant Anti Warsaw Pact Pact which was created in 2016 to fight communism.

Let's Achieve Peace Through Military Action

The SAF are still a member of the dormant MPO Let's Achieve Peace Through Military Action, even though at one point it was listed as an enemy of that MPO.
