Sigil

Sigil is a community town located at ZN59 on the MRT Zephyr Line. It was founded by Toth_1 (formerly Purrcat2010) on October 10th, 2022, after a long time of planning and when he got the station he put in for at the GSM the day before. The city is named after the planar and cosmopolitan city of Sigil from Dungeons and Dragons. The first actual structure was a MetroBurger. It joined a pride wall, a bunch of roads, and two plazas. It is notable for hosting the September 2023 GSM.

As said, Sigil was founded on October 10th, 2022. Thoth in short order made a discord group for it (Link for it: https://discord.gg/R49G9XWM3C ), he also soon appointed HarborRandom852 as the Deputy Mayor of said community town. Thoth expected there to be a lot of building, but progress has been gradual, with him and Harbor building the most stuff in Sigil in practice. One notable thing built by neither the two is the metro, which was built by Michabos. Today, Sigil stands of one of the MRT's most active community town despite it's slow start. However, it did receive a brief surge of activity when it hosted the September 2023 GSM.

Transport

Internal transport in Sigil is handled by the Transit Authority of Sigil. There is a metro system currently consisting of a single line, currently going from the southern edge of Downtown Core to Pride Walk. There is also a conventional minecart streetcar system to supplement the metro, consisting of two lines; the CyanCore and ZephyrCentral lines. The former is a loop line in the Downtown Core district. The latter goes from Downtown Core, through Central, to currently the edge of Zephyrside, connecting major landmarks in Sigil like the MRT station and the Pride Wall. Extensions and more lines in both modes are planned. Aside from the MRT, there are plans to build Sigil Torus station to handle external transit needs.
