Sunset Pass is a small settlement located along the A245. It is southeast to XE33 and northeast to XE34, and serves as a rest stop to travelers along the highway.
History
Sometime before AlphaDS joined the MRT server, an unknown player built a short road and an unfinished building, and was abandoned afterwards. In the November 2019 GSM, the A245 was proposed and the settlement was briefly mentioned. The A245 was approved but construction quickly halted. It wasn't until January 2021 when it was planned to be a rest stop, because AlphaDS saw that there is a rest stop legend on the road infobox template but was never used. Around 31st January 2021, the construction of the A245 was in the proximity of the settlement and AlphaDS decided it would a nice idea to found a rest stop settlement just like how real-life highways do in real life.
Four days after its foundation, Sunset Pass achieved Councillor, becoming the first rest stop to do so. No further expansions are expected.
Layout
Sunset Pass has a main avenue passing through, with small one-way roads. There are a number of facilities for travellers, including an inn, a gas station, a Sunset with Drive-Thru and a variety of stores. A bus service is also avaliable to Hytown, Nippia-Liten Metropolitan Airport, Lapis Bay, Nymphalia, Broville and Dogwood.
