Letter to the Government of the City-State of Kitania

Hello. We are the Kitanian Communist Party, an ever growing association of workers within the City-State of Kitania. Today we are asking you about a very pressing concern: the merger of IntraAir with Notalis, which is pending shortly. Since IntraAir's parent company, Feline Holdings, is majority owned by a citizen of the City-State of Kitania, the CSoK government has power under the Eminent Domain Act to nationalize IntraAir. Therefore, we offer up five reasons why IntraAir should not merge with Notalis:

  • It worsens Kitanian infrastructure. While IntraAir is legally a Covinan company, IntraAir was founded as a Kitanian airline providing service for the City-State of Kitania. A merger with the foreign Notalis could cause resources to be drawn away from Kitania and be detrimental for the City-State.
  • Quality of service is lowered. IntraAir is known to have a very high quality service with numerous innovations such as Emperor Class that put it ahead of the pack. A merger with Notalis will probably lower quality and stop these great innovations from occurring.
  • Kitanian workers are hurt. IntraAir is run from Covina, however it maintains large offices in Nippia, Kitania, and Zaquar, as well as employing large amounts of ground workers in Kitania, Llamapolis, Zicronia, and Zaquar. A merger will cause cuts and hurt the Kitanian economy.
  • It leads to a Monopoly. IntraAir and Notalis collectively control about 60-75% of the flight market today. With that being said, a merged Notalis very probably could push smaller airlines, such as SkyWest, Eastern Airways, and especially BART Airlines, out of business due to flooding the market with cheap flights.
  • The situation was lied about. Probably the strongest reason against the merger is the fact that officials from both IntraAir and Notalis have lied about merger negotiations numerous times, which shows their contempt for the common people.

Therefore, we request that the government of the City-State of Kitania, in order to defend Capitalism, defend its economy, defend the common workers, and keep Kitania great, seize IntraAir from Feline Holdings under the Eminent Domain Act and stop the merger.

Thank you for reading this, and for defending the common workers.

Sincerely,

Skelezomperman

Chairman of the Kitanian Communist Party
