Future date/times

Since this is an unofficial organization, everything should be determined/suggested by the community.

Kiwi's proposal:
Since the elections for LoC officials are in March, I would like to suggest some sort of debate in February to give LoC voters time to think about the candidates. The following is my idea:

  • A debate on February 28th with times that would work for both US and Europe.
  • Considering there are already many parties and could be many more candidates in addition to independents, limit the debate to the top 5 candidates according to an official poll (including independents)
  • An official poll determined weekly online
  • Primaries to be scheduled between January 1st-February 28th to find parties' nominations

I'd love to hear your opinions on this.

Thanks
Kiwirainbow

Why limit it to 5? Much bigger debates have been fielded on live TV in the UK and USA, for example- why not limit it at something like 8 or 10? Tarheelscouse (talk) 13:10, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Official Abbreviations

Guys, the point of the official abbreviations was to keep them uniform like they do in the United States. The Republican Party is abbreviated as (R), the Democratic Party as (D), and the Independents as (I), the Greens as (G), the Libertarians as (L), and so on. There are no three-letter abbreviations that are officially used by news agencies. jphgolf4321 (talk) 16:46, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Hmm?

Is all of this government stuff really needed? We have a staff for a reason. Skelezomperman (talk) (contribs) (email) 21:18, 18 December 2015 (EST)

Probably, because we're planning on overthrowing the staff using the parties for LoC elections and some other stuff unrelated to the staff. Camelfantasy (Meh) 21:32, 18 December 2015 (EST)

Creating a New Party

Greetings, Fred here. I would like to create my own political party, but don't exactly know what I need to do for that. Therefore, I would like some help. FredTheTimeLord (talk) 00:13, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Fred, just follow the pattern other people are using on the page. Anyone member and above can create a party. Ben6331 - Mayor of Ben Nation and Director of Towns and Cities since 2015 (talk) 00:31, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
