Please do not use bold text, I use bold text to draw attention to my replies as I am the one in the know, as it is my company, if you make an edit to this page I shall read it, so your opinion shall always be heard. Happy browsing :) RLcrafters (talk) 09:08, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

Wazamawazi

Wazamawazi permission granted, but when you are building it, please contact me about exact station location. Note that T30 C97 are not the same station, those are 2 seperate stations, on the north, and west of the city. ~autobus22

Ok, will do :) RLcrafters (talk) 18:09, 14 February 2015 (EST)

Thunderbird Transit Centre System Provider

Hey RL,

When are you coming back on? Mind building those Regional Connect platforms before April 18th (GSM)? I'm not really impatient or anything. Maybe 2 would do, then we can ask staff to //stack that. Then I'll finish the rest of the Transit Centre. That cool? :) Decorminecraft (talk) 14:38, 22 March 2015 (EDT)

Possible Northern Route

Hey RL, I was wondering if RegionalConnect was going to do a northern route because I am planning a transit Centre for my City of West Calbar (A13-14). If not, I was then going to ask if I could see your technology and maybe borrow some ideas from it for a northern route for my own company. Thx! Sesese9 (talk) 22:16, 13 April 2015 (EDT)

RegionalConnect had an agreement with citirail, citirail are the primary north map company and RC cover the south. RLcrafters (talk) 01:16, 14 April 2015 (EDT)

Addition to wiki

Hi RL, could you add the following to the connections text box for me please on the Regional Connect wiki page? I would like there following in a red box with white writing: KM North-South Line

Thanks!! -Aliksong

Map Derp?

Hey RL, it looks like Nippia is spelled NIppia on your map! Just wanted to let you know! Enjineer30302 (talk) 09:38, 19 April 2015 (EDT)

Formosa

Hey RL, Any chance you could expand slightly south of Kenthurst or slightly west of Sealane for a connection to Formosa when it reaches the required rank? Thanks! Camelfantasy (talk) 17:04, 13 May 2015 (EDT)

Vergil

Hey RL. I saw that the East Ocean Line is going to serve Melrose, a town adjacent to mine. As my town, Vergil, is a larger town than Melrose through our ownership of P11 (Vergil - Baylon), P12 (Vergil - Union Station), and Montauk Island (directly east of P12), I was wondering if there's any chance that East Ocean Line could also serve Vergil. Vergil currently is at Mayor, however, I plan on applying for Senator at the next GSM. Based on your route map, it seems like the East Ocean Line will have to at least go through Vergil to reach Melrose, so you'd lose nothing by also stopping at Union Station. Thanks for your consideration. JohnNotTech (talk) 02:53, 7 July 2015 (EDT)

Ellesume

As JohnNotTech said about Vergil being in the way of the West Ocean Line Ellesume is between Melrose and Mason City and to get around you'll have to build a loop. Ellesume's not far off Mayor and looking for transit. So in future may West Ocean Line stop at Ellesume when I get Senator. Sorry to mess you up Allifarki (talk) 01:52, 19 October 2015 (EDT)

Your station shall be considered for construction, mind giving me a MRT station name/number so I know where to look. RLcrafters (talk) 05:24, 19 October 2015 (EDT)

Sub-proposal, with regards to Ellesume query

EN1, I believe. Also, as a matter of fact, the East Ocean Line would have to go around the east of the ocean, past Accerton and Airchester, in order to reach Ellesume. I think. So when I get senator, would you mind if a RC Line stop there. It's at MRT Station C27-EC08 Accerton Exchange. Sorry to confuse you now Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 05:52, 19 October 2015 (EDT)
Right, I've taken the time to redesign the EOL, Accerton you're already served by EASTrail plus due to existing line infrastructure, it is not possible to serve Accerton. Below is a map of the proposal, I will have to check with redbear, kitty and major if this is ok. If all 3 give the go-ahead then this shall be implemented on RC's main page. Any questions? RLcrafters (talk) 06:37, 19 October 2015 (EDT)

NewEOLprop.png

Just to note, St. Anna on this map is in the wrong place, the real St Anna is slightly south, on the coast. What you're serving, according to the map is lala's second town. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 06:59, 19 October 2015 (EDT)
Ok thanks for the heads up RLcrafters (talk) 07:11, 19 October 2015 (EDT)
So you're going to scrap Melrose completely? At least we'll be served by Vergil or better still: Vergil-Melrose Interchange. Martii_Scots01 - Why on earth did that happen? (talk) 21:31, 19 October 2015 (EDT)

I'm going to have all cities in the plains line SMP served by one central train station at a location to be decided. It'll most likely be somewhere on the road from Vergil to Appleton, and i'm scrapping the idea that CME and GCR services will not call on the plains, these lines shall now run on one track until north of the station where they shall split into CME and GCR lines heading west, and EOL services heading north. RLcrafters (talk) 07:28, 20 October 2015 (EDT)
I hope I'm not jumping into the serious discussion, but Lala's second town is actually called Banana_Ardy - THIS SIGNATURE IS SPONSORED BY VANADIUM SYSTEMS (talk) 09:22, 20 October 2015 (EDT)
Are you sure about that? :P Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 09:42, 20 October 2015 (EDT)
Map's inaccurate. Mason City is actually on North Haven, Huntington's on Covina. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 08:16, 22 October 2015 (EDT)

SCL Route Proposal

Ooh Ooh ahh.... (translation: Chimpeh approves, apart from the section east of C41 station.) Look at the bold. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 05:17, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
Hey RL, if approval is not gained from Pearl Coast, will the white route be HSR? Also, RC appears to serve as the express line passing the Eastern line. With this new development I am strongly recommending that it could be elevated after C40 station because the Future B41 road must be at-grade. Thanks! Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 05:17, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
If I do not get approval from Pearl Coast, yes the white line will be HS, and i may have to elevate the rail line because otherwise ill have to deal with HS gradients, which trust me... are a huge pain in the <censored> RLcrafters (talk) 07:20, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
It also might be hard to go through Phos City (owned by a rather inactive player), which has been put up for auction by the staff. However, I could try applying for caretaker until a suitable player is found. Either that, or you'll just have to miss it. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 07:27, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
I've already got perms to go through Phos City, and the lines already built. All I need to build is a station. RLcrafters (talk) 07:44, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
Oooh ooh ahh ahh (translation:Chimpy approves) BTW, I don't think knowmads7 is Trusted on wiki; shall I ask him on your behalf, if you're offline? Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 07:50, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
Knowmads is mayor of Pearl Coast I take it? I'll ask him, he's normally online when I am RLcrafters (talk) 07:53, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
Yes. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 07:59, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
BTW, the city you have labeled Royal Ferry is oakley Click here for NOOT NOOT! 13:22, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
Due to a miscalculation on my part neither Oakley nor Royal Ferry shall be serviced by RegionalConnect. Royal Ferry because existing line infrastructure will not allow it. Oakley because it is abandoned and the mayor, though active, is on a double warning and so therefore is a member. RLcrafters (talk) 03:36, 23 October 2015 (EDT)

The SCL will not be serving Pearl Coast. This city shall be served by either another rail company or another express RegionalConnect line. RLcrafters (talk) 03:12, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
An updated route plan has been released, may the mayors of Pearl Coast, Astoria, Elecna Bay, Brunswick, Zaquar, Disboard, Whiteley and Oakley please review the plan. RLcrafters (talk) 08:40, 7 December 2015 (EST)

North Haven/Mason City

Noticed that one of the lines says Mason City but the location on the map is in North Haven. I would love a station in North Haven; would this work, or...? -Sam

I'll look into it :) RLcrafters (talk) 03:36, 23 October 2015 (EDT)
If RC does stop at Nth Haven instead of Mason City, I am happy to accommodate a road-rail bridge. The existing A30 plan requires a suspension bridge passing to the south west of Mason City. However, a rail level can be arranged for RC and another train company. Kiwi and Yoshi are fine with that, Kastle and Sam I need to speak to. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 06:37, 23 October 2015 (EDT)
Chimp remember that road bridge must carry the A28 over to the northern cities too.

Allifarki (talk) 11:36, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

I know, I'm planning a 4 + 4 road from East of North Haven; with up to 8 tracks on the rail level. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 13:20, 25 October 2015 (EDT)

Wythern

I would like to discuss a potential RegionalConnect connection to Wythern. Wythern is not far off from Mayor Rank, and not far off from the SCL line, so we would like to discuss potential connections when you get back. Thank you. Baseball02 (talk) 15:20, 23 October 2015 (EDT)

Notice: Wythern has been added to the SCL route on HS2, it will be the first city to have a dedicated high-speed rail station. Construction has already begun. RLcrafters (talk) 03:07, 26 October 2015 (EDT)

About the High-Speed Lines

Hey RL, enjin here. I was just wondering about how the High-Speed lines with the uCars glitch will work, as I thought we weren't allowed to exploit the glitch for transit use, but that's just what I remember (I've been on less over the summer and this fall, sorry!). Enjineer (talk) 16:00, 23 October 2015 (EDT)

AP_Red here. About High-Speed lines being banned, that applies to "old-fashioned" high-speed lines, the ones involving pistons along a diagonal track. However, to my knowledge, Ucar-glitch lines are not banned. Therefore, RL's HS-tracks would be allowed. Hope this clears things up

The original creator of chimerail even emailed staff about this when they first started up and AdMods had no problem with it, however they did warn that as this is a glitch it could be patched at any time. RLcrafters (talk) 07:04, 24 October 2015 (EDT)

Marblegate extension

Below are the published route plans for RC trains into Marblegate. RLcrafters (talk) 07:45, 6 November 2015 (EST)

Shouldn't affect A30 work if it's underground; if it's overground I can work around it ;) Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 13:59, 6 November 2015 (EST)
It is underground for most of the way RLcrafters (talk) 13:07, 7 November 2015 (EST)

Wazamawazi and WestCalbar extention.png

Hi Rl, Me has a question. The East part of the line toward Laclede runs exactly where A942 is... Also, the map indicates the line would run right through the Spaghetti Bowl. Is the rail planned to be underground or overground here? Concerning station location, I think it should work but maybe contact me in-game or look at the location when you can to make sure that it will still work because A942 is directly underneath :D Thx again for building RC towards me! Sesese9 (talk) 18:18, 9 November 2015 (EST)
Also, concerning my town of Freshney (to the West of West Calbar), it is projected to run straight through my port, and since it is fairly deep and would look silly with a bridge, it would have to either be a deep tunnel or re-routed south preferably. I would ask for it to call, but it would be inconvenient to, due to the close proximity to West Calbar, and also that we are in an SMP. Also also, it would run right along my canal along the approach to West Calbar, so that would have to be a tunnel too. Bensismith (talk) 18:41, 9 November 2015 (EST)
I'll need to do a bit of surveying to determine what will happen. RLcrafters (talk) 17:58, 12 November 2015 (EST)
Sweet, thx RL :) Sesese9 (talk) 18:07, 12 November 2015 (EST)

RegionalConnect branch lines

RegionalConnect is starting a new rail program to reach out to those not on our network, we call it 'the branch line program'. What it does is as we have our mainline network fully planned we're commencing the planning of local branch line services. In order to acquire one you need to apply for a station. This is generally aimed at towns and cities that are near an existing mainline and do not have any stations nearby, towns that have been granted a branch line are Ellesume from Vergil and Royal Ferry from San Reinoldi. Usual server rules apply in that you must be mayor or over to gain a intercity rail connection ect... Anyway, to apply for a station please state: A. what existing or planned line it is you would like to connect to B. What the name of your town is C. mrt station code(s) or where on the map your city is located. PLEASE include the word BRANCH LINE(S) somewhere in your topic title. Thank you for your time RLcrafters (talk) 06:55, 11 November 2015 (EST)

About this, you know how on the ne regional connect map the SCL is now split into 2 sections, would these be classed as branch lines or not? Join me on an epic quest to save humanity 15:33, 11 November 2015 (EST)
I'm classifying both as mainlines, one shall simply be a diversion from a main route but will still be served equally by services, think of it like the GWR north of Taunton, the mainline line to London turns east while another to Bristol continues north, in the event that the mainline to London is closed for whatever reason, trains would take the line to Bristol as that also goes to London. RLcrafters (talk) 17:07, 11 November 2015 (EST)

EOL Link

Hey RL, from the stations list for the EOL I can see that you will clearly need a connection between Mason City, Huntington/Coronado and onward to New Phoenix. The A30 is planned to terminate at Huntington. In the future the A28 will be connecting to New Phoenix. So, I have devised an 8 lane bridge to carry both roads.
After seeing the new RC plans, I decided to add a rail level should RC need an easy way to connect between the three stations. After hearing about Suburban's plans for a route corridor along this said connection I have decided to increase the number of rail tracks to 6 (4 passenger, 2 freight). So, the new A30-A28 bridge will become a road-rail bridge housing the RC and Suburban lines as well. Lemme know what you think. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 16:11, 11 November 2015 (EST)

Currently it is not likely that the EOL shall be constructed anytime soon. Reason being that we need clearance from the mayor of vergil as currently they're in the process of virtually destroying that town. And the plan was to use tunnels to cross between the 3 stations, however I will make a final decision closer reconstruction time. RLcrafters (talk) 17:00, 12 November 2015 (EST)
OK, but I'll still keep 2 tracks reserved for RC should you need it. If you decide not to, I will release the two tracks. Chimpeh - Gimmeh da bananas now! :D (talk) 14:06, 13 November 2015 (EST)

Oakley Branch Line

Hey RL, I was wondering if Oakley could get a connection to Regional Connect. Oakley is at F5/I5. it would be off the midsouth branch line to Royal Ferry.

--MIKE24Dude (talk) 13:54, 20 November 2015 (EST)

Oakley already has a planned RC station on the MSL mainline I simply forgot to add it to the route map.RLcrafters (talk) 01:58, 21 November 2015 (EST)

Also in your recent map just so you know Royal Ferry is directly North of Oakley. --MIKE24Dude (talk) 18:23, 30 November 2015 (EST)

The map isn't it to scale and is only there to show a simplified view of where routes go. Many of the locations on this map are in wrong locations to make it less effort to make the map and move lines around. ZOMG im finishing the A50 (talk) 02:04, 1 December 2015 (EST)
It's like the London tube map, it's roughly correct but it bears almost no geographical accuracy to the real locations of the stations RLcrafters (talk) 03:36, 1 December 2015 (EST)

Job Applications

Branch Line (Espil)

Could I request a branch line from the GWR? I'm at C80/C81. I'm no planner, but it could also be a great idea to connect a line from isthmus to daneburg. ;) InDev (talk) 21:55, 3 January 2016 (EST)

Hey InDev, I already think we are well connected with the MRT. As for a local system, if Cal is still in favor of the Daneburg light rail system you could connect on to that as well. Would give a local corridor from c80 through Cals's town and Daneburg to TrainPro at c77. -- BaronTB 12:26, 4 Jan. 2016 (GMT)

Ok :) InDev (talk) 07:27, 4 January 2016 (EST)

Branch Line UCWT

Hi RL, could you possibly build an extension from one of the lines near Sealane to serve Formosa (maybe around M6) and eventually Danielston and a future airport? Camelfantasy (Meh) 12:06, 4 January 2016 (EST)

It seems more logical in my eyes to connect you through the PATH train to Sealane Central, where you are able to transfer to a RegionalConnect train. RLcrafters (talk) 17:38, 4 January 2016 (EST)

Station for Ezzo City (XW12)

Hello RL, I have chosen you as the priority for my first intercity station (on approval). I really do not understand which line to choose (I'm in the middle of Kenthurst and Vermilion). Although I feel its OK to do a branch route, I think its better to do a station for the green and red line (this is what I saw on the line). After helping me choose the line, you and I can commence building of the station. Thanks, ezzocraft Ezzo (talk) 05:23, 24 January 2016 (EST)

Armada Sub-Division

If this gets a #Ardy Approved a Possible Rail Yard/Sub Division in the Armada Area to Serve the Main Lines coming in as Well as Services to Snowtopic and Waterville

No station at Orio? -Yellowitcher

Orio would proboly get a station -Ptld

This line could share tracks with CitiRail between Orio and Armada (if frozen chooses these cites).

Laclede

Hi RL. Might it be possible for RegionalConnect to expand to Laclede? jphgolf4321 (talk) 15:20, 14 February 2017 (UTC)

Where would you plan this connection to come from exactly? I mean... it's possible to do but really difficult. Especially if the connection was to come in from the west. Because since Nordic acquired the franchise, RegionalConnect and CitiRail have been meshed together. But only in the west. RLcrafters (talk) 23:13, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
I was hoping you could extend the line from Whitechapel but if that's a bear or impossible you can come in from the south but it'll have to be underground. jphgolf4321 (talk) 22:34, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
You see the issue with that is, the line to Whitechapel is owned by CitiRail, we just track share. Potentially coming in from the south only option is a third line coming north out of Sealane going through Cornus and under the Seneca, permission pending of course. RLcrafters (talk) 22:57, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Phos City

Phos will be a part of Freedon soon so may you please change the names from Phos City to Freedon? Soso123 (talk) 23:47, 14 February 2017 (UTC)

It will remain Phos on the route map till an official name is given to the area that it once served RLcrafters (talk) 00:05, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

Idea For a Northern Extension of RegionalConnect

Suggested Path.PNG This is only a suggestion, its your choice if you want to use this idea or not. This would expand RegionalConnect into the more northern areas of the Server, which don't really have any major intercity rail companies (Most intercity connections are buses, major warp train companies, or local metros/subways). This is also a request for RegionalConnect to go into Bakersville, and use my large station for something other than warp trains. Due to the large room I have available, it could be an express station with different lines branching off. If you think another route is better, than please collaborate with me. Again, I am willing to give RegionalConnect a large area in Bakersville for whatever it pleases if I do eventually get connected. FredTheTimeLord (talk) 04:07, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
