Tung Wan is a town that was built by TheAllRounderMC at ZS39 station on the MRT Zephyr Line. It was founded on the 24th of September, 2021, and has grown into a [Mayor] town since then. The town has quite a bit of Mojangitis, as well as its messiness in general (especially parts that were built in 2021).
Etymology
Tung Wan was named as such as it was to the east of a bay with the same name, and it was named after from Miu Wan, a very iconic town at the time. The built-up area that exists so far is the eastward frontier of a small bay.
Geography
Tung Wan is located within the Southern Tundra, in between Seolho and Redwood. As the name suggests, the city is the eastward frontier of a bay. The town is based off of Singapore, the hometown of TAR, with European aspects. Naturally, being in a cold climate, Tung Wan prioritizes, among other things, adequate shelter to protect its residents.
History
Founded on 24/9/21, Tung Wan's history mainly comprises of building and demolition. A majority of the buildings from its Councillor era have been razed to the ground, the majority nowhere in sight. Despite TAR focusing on this town's growth for 8 months (as of the last edition in 22/5/2022), so far he has not accomplished anything more than a Mayor town. Administration
Tung Wan is part of the jurisdiction of Lumeva, being the 2nd easternmost city of the Region (beaten only by Gee, which TAR also owns).
Transport
The town sits along the Zephyr South line, occupying ZS38 (Charlton) ZS39 (Tung Wan Central) and ZS40 (Sha Wai Ah Warprail Station). The town is also served by the NewRail FLR, along the R6 line. BluRail is planned to serve the area, as is a intra-city light rail network.
Economics
Tung Wan's currency is the Norwestian Pound, being a Lumeva city; MRT dollars are widely accepted here though.
