History

The idea to construct the city of Twickenham was first conceived in February 2016. The plan called for an outrageous slab of stone to the Eastern Ocean that would have been carved out and built on. However since that proposal was denied and no suitable land could be found, the project was put on hold. When Frumple announced the Epsilon server expansion, land scouting commenced, the island in the far Northwest was seen as a prospective candidate and when mayor MIKE24DUDE saw the land for himself when he joined the beta server he immediately made it his goal to claim the island. When the opening day occurred, along with many other players MIKE24DUDE scrambled to grab the island. EliteNeon and QueenSmae had planned to share the island, MIKE24DUDE got to the island and claimed the eastern half and within minutes MIKE24DUDE and EliteNeon had agreed to share the island. MIKE24DUDE had already started building train stations and train sets. While neighboring Risima is developing rapidly, Twickenham is developing slowly but surely. With a few roads and buildings such as the Knapford fishery along with the first hand-generated Knapford station the city is slowly coming to fruition. However a new more complete version of Knapford station is being built along with the fist rendition of Tidmouth station. The town hall building along with a few other buildings are ready to be added into the city. Following the installation of Tidmouth and Knapford station. This city has a lot of potential that has not even begun to be shown.

Government

The city of Twickenham controls all local affairs such as business regulation and day to day living. However The Dominion of Royal Ferry and Twickenham is the central government that the city reports too. The Dominion of Royal Ferry and Twickenham can create laws that supercede the city of Twickenham's laws aswell as administer the agencies it operates and make sure that all it's colonies and capital are safe and operating "normally".

Transport

The main way of transport in Twickenham is by either bus, car(if you can afford one), or National Railways(for train information refer to Twickenham National Rail Service Table). Most roads don't have dividers, but when you see another motorist drive on your left hand side. When you see an especially large lorry or bus pull over to the left hand side completely as some roads are particularly narrow.
