Policies

Skele has been working for you since he joined the United Cities, and sides with the common people of the MRT Server.

Security Council

I endorsed Resolution 25 and pushed for its passage. Now, I will defend the abolishment of the Security Council and will oppose any efforts to bring it back in any way, shape, or form, whether it is elected from the GA as a whole, goes by ranks, is on a rotation, or is "proportional" to parties. We do not need to overcomplicate the United Cities.

Actual Work

What should the United Cities actually do though? I support the current system of limiting UC power and allowing committees to form to help with projects. This is the main goal of the United Cities: people helping other people. I do not support, in any way, the United Cities physically intervening to build new things in towns or terraforming because the United Cities should leave towns to themselves, only providing advice. However, the committees-being-formed-by-resolutions idea is getting tiring for those who just come to the UC for a community. So Skele proposes that the President with the approval of two other officers be allowed to create Discord channels and committees without resolutions. Now these committees won't be able to force anyone to do anything, but we don't need to force the GA to vote on a resolution unless the project is definitely for the common good. As a check the GA could abolish the committees by resolution but that probably won't happen. So, that's Skele's projects.

Why Skele is Qualified

I have so far successfully proposed five resolutions, and all five passed the General Assembly. Although only three of these resolutions have become law, the rest of them were stopped in the undemocratic Security Council or by the appointed President (I should stress that I respect these people but that I feel they have not passed the vetting process of Democracy). And while most of these resolutions were political, I did propose the resolution that created the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which allows older members to help younger members rank up.. I speak for the Commoners; my proposals have always been accepted by the common people of the General Assembly. And while this may seem like a poor passing record, let me remind you that my opponent (who again I respect) has not proposed a single resolution, let alone passed one.

Who I Endorse

I feel that I can work with other candidates to be an Anti-Establishment Wave. Therefore, I endorsed _Kastle for President, as he will bring democracy to the Security Council the easiest. Finally, I endorse mine_man_ for Secretary of State as he is the most anti-establishment candidate on the server.

Skele's Letter to His Supporters

Dear supporters:

I would like to briefly address the fact about my position. The election is coming up soon, and I am losing in the polls. You guys can still make myself and my allies in the Anti-Establishment movement win. However, I am not writing to you to tell you to go vote like a politician. I am writing to make a pledge: That I will not drop my proposals just because I lose. I will work with the next Vice President, whether it is Narnia17, EliteNeon, or Yellowitcher, and I will still send in my resolution to allow officers to create the Discord channels on their own. I also plan on creating my resolution to create a channel to assist with infrastructure in the NE Epsilon areas. And I would like to remind you that regardless of whether I win or lose, we can still make a United Cities that Works for You. Thank you.
