Hello:

Please do not spam the edit log, it can get annoying and repetitive.

Thank you, KingFox (talk) 19:23, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

HEY While we’re on the topic of unnecessary reminders for tiny things that nobody cares about, you need to sign your messages with four tildes at the end of your message. A tilde is like this: ~ So just put four at the end of each talk page message. Skelezomperman (talk) (contribs) (email) 15:38, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
Skele has already told you to stop. Why dont you take his advice? CaptainObi (talk) 19:34, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
in defense of obi, I don't think it is ever a rule about editing the same page multiple times a day. for example, yoshi edits his pages a ton, and he is probably one of the most active people in the wiki so far, managing the wiki and adding status templates too. in addition, this wiki is more lax in typical Wikipedia rules and stuff, for an example, minor edits in this wiki are basically just any edit that doesn't add lots of data to the page, when in Wikipedia it can only be used for grammar fixes and stuff. thanks ~ this is SoaPuffball Talk Contribs ~ 09:06, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

I understand and am very sorry for my abrasiveness in the previous message. What I'm trying to say is that you can (and should, but I acknowledge that that is just my opinion) click the 'Show Preview' button instead of editing your pages 4 times in a 15-minute block. I know this is not a rule, but I think it is a good guideline because when I check the wiki, I scroll down to see which pages have been edited, but there is a limit to how far I can scroll down because the edit log has a fixed number of pages. Some people care about this, (even Yoshi in fact), but he clicks the 'Show Preview' button and makes one large edit at a time instead of several small edits that require more spaces in the edit log. The Wiki even says this, If all looks good, click "Save page" below. Please be sure to use the "Show preview" button first to see what your page will look like when you save it.

Again, not trying to be rude, just explaining. Thank you, KingFox (talk) 14:14, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

It's not necessarily rude for you to say that, but I think it's annoying that you're going to tell everyone you see make 4 or 5 small edits at once to use the show preview button. If he was making 50 or so edits at once it would be one thing, but it's a very small amount of edits, and it is irritating to get an obnoxious note telling you to use the show preview button because you made 4 edits instead of one. Not to mention, if you really need to go see more edits, you can go to Special:RecentChanges/500 to see all of the last 500 revisions to the Wiki.
